I was introduced to care giving at a young age. My mother was a CNA and worked in a skilled care facility. She helped me get a job in the kitchen and when i seen how much she ment to the people she cared for i wanted to do the same. I worked in the health care field for over 20 yrs. I have experience working in group homes for the mentality ill to skilled facilities. At the present time i am a Senior aide where i make sure my patients are cared for to the best.
I'm a good caring certified nursing aideand personal home care aide. Healthcare as a occupation runs in my family. I took care of my mother on dialysis at home, with diabetes and breast cancer. I love taking care of others. I'm very patient, respectable, understanding and caring person. I like to work in a clean environment. I've had the opportunity to worked with many families. In the process of helping catering to their needs, I've learned a lot. I worked with people on all type on special needs and disabilities. I like what I do for people, and at the end of the day I always feel proud of being able to lend a helping HAND.
I am 31 years old and have been a CNA since 2010. I also starting doing home care on top of nursing home care and absolutely love it. I love making people smile and helping them with daily task they need assistance with to make their day go a lot easier and happier. I look at my clients as family. I treat them as i would want my family memeber to be treated.

What attracted me into being a caregiver is because i love helping people. Getting older is apart of life so i put myself into my residents shoes if i was in their position i would want someone that truly care to take care of me not someone that's just doing the job for the money. I live by " you treat people how you would want to be treated " & that's why i go above & beyond to treat people kind & with respect.
I believe I am a great care giver because I can empathize with any situation and I am very patient when it comes to of his needs. I chose to become a caregiver because I like to help people Who needs help with the ADLs what I love about being a caregiver is the gratitude of helping someone that can't help themselves. Sometimes a caregiver becomes a person's only family sort of speak. A personal achievement of mine is receiving my CNA certification to be able to do just that, help those that can't help themselves
What makes me a great caregiver is I have patience. I love my job and my position. It makes me happy to be there so it makes me go harder. I always think this could be my grandma or my mother. So I treat everyone and anyone with the respect they deserve. An personal achievement I am proud of is that I make all my residents feel safe and secure, and sometimes they don't always shave family and it I love being someone to be there, someone to talk to or just for the company, that's why I love what im doing.
I started out as a pca in 2003 but I was young and my heart wasn't in it. In 2015 my mother in law was diagnosed with a severe brain infection and we were told she would start declining rapidly. She needed 24hr care so we packed up and moved in with her. I quit my job to learn about how to give her proper care I went to doctors appointments and got guidance from her nurses that came to the house as well. They showed me how to give insulin and feeding tube care I practically became her primary caregiver. 6 months later she passed on. From that point on being a caregiver was something I knew I wanted to do. Just being able to provide care and companionship to someone is what i was put here to do. I currently work in a nursing home facility overnight and I just want to help someone else during the day
Friendly, reliable caregiver, looking for work evenings or nights. I am a 22 year old college student taking off the next year to work and figure out what degree I would like to attain. I have one year of college completed, working towards the nursing program. I have three years experience as an aid. I currently nanny and work a few hours a week in the activities department at newfane rehab. After being an aid for a few years I wanted to switch it up so I applied for that and have been doing that the past four months, along with nannying this past year and still into this year. I plan on continuing my two jobs, between the both it's about 40 hrs, but since I am not in school I'm looking into a third job for evenings and or nights! I am rlly great with children and the elderly, as I am very compassionate. Please contact me via here or email at email@example.com
