I am a dedicated self driven women who does my job to the best of my ability. I have been a caregiver to many elderly and disabled adults for the last 10 years and counting. I have worked in many settings which include group homes, assistant living facilities, nursing home facilities, independent living and In-home private care. I assure that you/ your loved one will be in very good hands. I enjoy my job and can't see myself doing anything else because nothing else makes my heart smile more than being a change in someone's life and helping them along the way when things may seem difficult. Being of assistance to someone else is my highest achievement and what I am most proud of. No matter the obstacles I will do my best to be the best caregiver that's needed. I am a very organized, caring, energetic ball of greatness. I give my clients the support and confidence that they need for everyday living. I am passionate about the work I do. I experienced my mom having primary peritoneal cancer which is grouped with ovarian cancer, and I took time off of work to take care of her full time until she passed in July 2018. That allowed me to learn and grow in the healthcare field on a higher level. I also look after my 89 year old grandmother and help her with daily activities. I take my profession serious and I'm great at what I do hands down!!!!

I'm an easy going and understanding lady who always have a smile on her face. Am hardworking, focused and always committed to what i do. What attracted me to be a caregiver is, i like to help to help people, i like to touch people's lives and put smiles on their faces, i want to understand them, feel their pains, fears and happy moments. I'm a great caregiver because I give quality care. I became a care giver because when my great grand mother was alive I provide care for her and I knew than at the age of 16 that this was the field I should be in. Hi! My name is Robert and I have been a State Tested Nursing Assistant for over 5 years. I have cared for hundreds (or maybe over 1000) senior citizens requiring skilled, long-term, memory, and non medical care. I find great passion in being a caregiver because it allows me to help others when they are in need. I earned my certification through a nationally recognized vocational school in which I took two years of academics at. What I enjoy most about being a care-giver is the ability to make a difference in someone's life for a positive impact. I always strive to go above and beyond and I treat my clients as if they were one of my parents. I have always been very sincere about the care that I give and very optimistic for my clients. I am always looking to help more people that are in need!

I treat the clients in my care the way I would want to be treated, I chose to become a caregiver after my maternal Grandmother became ill, and in turn developed Dememtia/Alzheimer's disease,myself as well as family members only wanted the best for her,and that meant keeping her with family, I'm most proud of myself when I'm providing the absolute best care that I can give to the clients in my care.

I've been a caregiver for 20 years going strong! I started off as a Resident Helper passing water and linens. I loved coming in everyday and simply talking with residents because many seemed relatable, just like family to me. I was eventually provided the opportunity to take classes to become a state certified STNA. I had great appreciation for this opportunity and I knew I would allow me the chance to do what I love and, actually "provide quality care" . I found my initial true calling through family first and it made me realize what compassion, support and commitment really means. Those words do not mean simply show up and do the minimum for a paycheck. No job is easy if you really do the work, I feel a sense of purpose, meaning and pride in what you do because I care and I know the industry. I I love seeing my clients/residents smile when I arrive, I pride myself on it because it matters to me how they feel and how they are treated. I may need someone to care for me at some point in my life, if so I hope I get someone who understands that it takes a person who really cares. If you REALLY love what you do it's not a job it's a blessing!

What makes me a great caregiver is that I enjoy helping people. What attracted me to being a caregiver is my mother. She's passionate about her work and she's being doing this for 20 plus years. The reason I would consider myself to be a great caregiver is because I am naturally a nurturer, I feel the need to make everyone comfortable, I go above and beyond to make sure all the things that need to get done are done and that the people that I'm taking care of our happy and feel confident in my care. I guess I became attracted to being a caregiver when my grandfather got sick and he got a stroke I learned all the things that needed to be done towards helping him feel independent. What I enjoy most about caregiving is the give-and-take. I learned so much from the people I meet no matter what the ages and it intern teaches me about myself. A personal achievement that I am proud of is that I read my son to become a fantastic human being and be caring towards others Because he's always watched me do it. Also I am proud of the reputation I have anywhere I've worked. I am always in demand because I am a kind and love what I do.
