I am a retired geriatric nurse experience in home health skilled therapy hospice long-term care for last 20 years. My dad survived three years with Lewy body dementia. As I moved to take care of him and great forever memories I have now I decided then to use my experience to take care Of elderly and children in their homes so they never have to leave their families And fully vaccinated. I am 32 years old and I have worked in the medical field for the last decade+. I have 3 children, so outside of being a single mother, I work. And I enjoy my "people" that I take care of. I have training for MOPI/ ETL/CPR& First Aid/Mat certified.

I have always been a caregiver and it is something that comes naturally. I've taken care of my sister for many years, she was a quadriplegic. I've also been a paraprofessional to children and worked as an RN for 17 yrs. in the areas of LTC/Rehab., home health, and Hospice care.

I have been told that I am a great encourager. With being a caregiver, sometimes, all it takes is a little encouragement, to go a long way. My attraction to wanting to become a caregiver, goes way back to when I was 9 years old. I was adopted by older parents (58 and 63). As I grew older, at age 12, I became interested in visiting an elderly neighbor. I would ride my bike to her house just because of her cool stories of her childhood, (and she provided cookies.) Little did I know, that my attraction to being a caregiver was already in the making of who I was meant to be as an adult. She even sent me a card in the mail and it stated I was her "favorite person." That meant SO MUCH to me! The only thing I can think of about something I'm proud of achieving would be when I worked in Customer Care at a gym, and the owners gave me a "Loving People Award." Other than that, just the simple fact that my two children have grown up to become upstanding, fine adults and are parents, themselves. So watching them figure things out as adults, makes me feel so proud of them.

Hello! When i first turned 18 i decided to be a carefiver. Watching my mom have care givers come and go growing up showed me how many people are juat into it for just the money an not the actual care for the clients. When in my experience actually getting to help someone still be able to comtinue their everyday life is rewarding!! I love connecting with my clients and having conversation!! I love to make everyone laugh and smile!! Just being upbeat around others helps upgrade everyone elses mood!

I have a very down to earth personality. very kind patient and love to craft and ride my horses in spare time along with outdoor activities in summer. I applied because I enjoy working with patient care and giving back to those that need it. plus I learn all kinds of stories from the patient. I have been in the medical field for 6 years or more and enjoy what I do.

I love to see their smile when we do something for people. I like to make them feel happy.

My personal experience was helping family members when they got sick and could not do things on there own. I always loved helping people out regardless if they was young old sick healthy I love seeing people smile. Being able to make someone's day just a little better. Personal achievements would be that I learned how to drain a catheter and learning different ways to help someone because not everyone can move or do the same things.

Make a difference to somebody's life, especially for those who cannot it to themselves.
