My primary concern as a caregiver is to make sure that my client is able to function at the best of their ability and to make sure that they are having the highest quality of life that they are able to have. I am not only there for my client but I am also there for the family (such as: to let them go grocery shopping, are just to be another set of ears at doctor appointments or for the family. After a few days with the client and the family I begin to consider them family. I have a great amount of nurturing and empathy, some say I care to much but I give 150% to my clients and families. I enjoy order and dispensing medication, relating to my clients, enjoy the pass and working on family history. I have no parents or grandparents so my clients kind of fill these roles. I have been a first responder, EMT, CPR Instructor, nurse's aide, and medication aide. My personal achievement that I am most proud of is having a D.N.S. that I work with for a long time trust me to teach new nurse's the medication routine and to be a charge nurse. As a personal care giver the highest praise I can be given is for my client to tell me I must be an angel and that they love me.

I was certified in November 2019 after attending a CNA training program in Hawaii Job Corps (Oahu, HI). In the program I was able to attain my HIPAA, Blood Borne Pathogens, and Basic Life Support. I have since then attended Western Iowa Tech where I received my prerequisites for Nursing 1. Because of the pandemic I decided to take a break from school to work and make ends meet. My Hawaii certification unfortunately expired before I could have it transferred so I have been working as an uncertified caregiver . Luckily for me, it's something I've always enjoyed doing. I'm very caring and gentel person when it comes to elderly or people whither disabilities because that's who I am and thy did not choose to be like that and they need my help and I need to be there for them. I became a CNA about 5 years a go as my frist job and did not want to do other job than this for it loved what we do. Recently I got my CNA level2 training and I can proform skilled duties.
