Have been a compassionate self starting caregiver for 12 years traveling within a 40 Mile radius of my home a good friend helped me to get started with helping seniors in their homes it gives me great pleasure to help seniors in need by just being a good listener and companionship and performing all activities of daily living such as grooming, bathing, toileting, dressing, meal preparation no, light housekeeping, running errands, medication reminders as well as medication management, transportation to appointments, am very familiar with using a Hoyer lift, safety belt, sliding board and other devices for transferring I take my job very seriously and consider it to be a blessing to assist seniors and enable them to maintain a dignified life style

From experience of being a GNA, I prefer tending to one client and building a relationship. I gain fulfillment from helping others and have realized from experience that being a home health aid is satisfying.

I have a great sense of humor, honesty , loyal cos I hate being lied to. I do my best put rest first in between me and anyone else.. Very responsible. Empathetic too. My dad passed away with no one around him . Never get a chance to care for him cos I was in the USA , so I decided to be in the health care Feild so I can be there for people that need my help . My personal achievement is giving a great presentation at work, being able to work at a very stressful suituation at a very limited time.

I have a special expertise and empathy in care giving, coupled with a college degree in healthcare administration. As well as first aid,CPR and medication administration. I have a vast experience in nursing homes, assisted living and in home care.

I would like to take the opportunity of introducing myself I'm Luciana de Andrade looking for a job as a caregiver. I am a Nurse Assistant graduate from HACC Community College. I believe that my Nurse Aide certification, coupled with my up to date First Aide/CPR and Microsoft Office computer training, and my strong background in customer service, make me an excellent candidate for this job. My experience includes helping patients with their personal needs such as using the bathroom, bathing, getting dressed and eating. I also have experience changing beds, cleaning up after patients and helping to keep the facility or house clean and sanitized. I have a pleasant and friendly personality with the ability to help patients feel comfortable and confident that they are receiving the very best care possible, regardless of their condition. I think I feel a special compassion for elderly patients because I was very close to my mother and grandmother and I cared for them for many years. I see all of my patients as though they were my relative and deserving of my best care and attention. One of my patients even told me that, if she could, she would hire me to be with her all of the time. I love helping others and I believe there is no better way to do this than by working in the health care profession.

I am currently a sophomore nursing student in Pittsburgh, but I will be home (York, PA) for May-August. I have over 900 hours in clinical experience, which includes the following: vitals, bathing, oral/perineal care, assist with mobility and ADL's, feeding, and dressing changes. I am a very caring person that enjoys providing care, while also getting to know and spending time with all types of patients and clients. I grew up and live with a physically disabled father, so I understand the desire and need for extra help as family members age.

I give my all when it comes to my job. I see it as an opportunity to care for the residents. I enjoy the insights from various residents about life.

I am an volunteer firefighter, so being a caregiver is another way for me to help others. I took care of my grandfather & seen it as something I could do for others. Being a caregiver for me is amazing because I like to help others & relieving others from stress & just overall seeing some thing I am doing making someone happy.
