I'm a high school graduate and have my diploma and a school bus driver during the week. My years experience fire safety, cpr, first aide and evacuation PROCEDURES. I'm looking for a full time position 5 days a week 8hrs / 11pm-7a.

I became a caregiver to help others help themselves when they no longer can or their physical or mental ability no longer allows them to do so.I care about people and think everyone should be comfortable and feel safe. I'm a very genuine person. Caring comes natural to me. I've taken care of individuals with intellectual disabilities, elderly, and fostering children also working in a rehabilitation center on the brain unit and amputation unit. It's not a job to me it's a lifestyle to care for others.

Being a caregiver for the past forty years has given me countless opportunities to help a variety of people. I have dealt with many different situations and illnesses in all age groups. I am a compassionate and patient individual. Nursing is my career. I started in 1978 as a certified nursing assistant and went on to graduate in 1995 as an LPN. My specialty is geriatrics mostly in skilled nursing facilities. Presently I work private care only. I much rather prefer to focus on individual care now. Having taken care of both of my parents at home and having years of nursing background, I am more than qualified to take care of your loved one. I will provide a relaxing, stimulating environment where they will feel safe. All the while making sure their daily needs are met. Providing nutrious meals and snacks is also important. I have specialized knowledge of Altzeimers and dementia. I have no problem giving insulin shots or morphine as I worked in hospice care. I am single with my son grown up. I have a very flexible schedule yet do make time for myself. I keep Sundays free for church and family. I prefer to work day hours, but will work some evenings if needed. I can only help your loved one if they are able to be mobile as I have a lifting restriction. I can assist someone in and out and up and down, but not if I have to lift.
