Hello, I would like to thank you for taking the time to open my profile. I would like to take a few minutes to tell you about myself. I have been careing for family's and their loved ones for over 30 years, must say I love what I do. I take every family that I choose to care for to heart as like a member of my own family. My goal is to make sure my client lives the highest quality of life possible. I know that I am capable, confident responsible and ultimately trustworthy. I have my most experience with cancer patients, stroke patients and Dementia/ Alzheimer patients. I find joy most doing two things for my clients that makes my heart filled with joy, that's caring for them with all my heart, and cooking meals for them that are prepared with the same love. I also have my past families recommendation letters on hand to email to you. I would appreciate it if you can take a moment and read them over to get a good feel of who I am and exactly what I do. Thank you for your time.
Being a mother, I have learned several traits that has allowed me to be great as a caregiver. These traits include patience, compassion, the ability to listen and understand others as well as being able to aid with problem solving. I am interested in being a caregiver because I enjoy being in the company of elderly people. They always have a lot of knowledge to impart on me. As a result, I learn a lot from them. I enjoy being able to help others, learning from them and becoming a friend. One personal achievement I am proud of is being able to go to school and earn my degree. Due to my going to school, I was able to learn more about Alzheimer's Disease and obtain a certificate for completing the class. Finally, I was able to graduate with my Associate's Degree in Medical Assistant.
My compassion and love for people makes me an exceptional caregiver. I've been in the field for 15 years plus. I became interested in the field caring for my mother whom I lost to Alzheimer's along with other medical complications over 20 years ago. I truly enjoy and love my work, and take pride in caring for my clients.
I been doing home health for multiple years because I like helping people and also learning things from the people I take care of. What makes me a good caregiver is my ability to go above and beyond the normal to brighten someone's day and to know that there are people that need and appreciate my help. You have to have patience and a caring attitude some cases are harder than others but in the end its about helping people stay somewhat independent and the need for loving dedicated caregivers are on the rise.
I am a graduate of Duquesne University. I love working One on one with people, in their homes. I have worked with disabled children and adults for over 20 years. Many of the children were autistic. I have also worked with adults with brain injury. I enjoy the personal experience of working with people individually.
I have been a caregiver for many years. It is my passion. I enjoy helping people a great deal. My mother before me was a nurse, my grandmother before her was a nurse. I take my job very seriously and I excel at what I do. I understand what it means to put my client and their safety and priorities first.
Hello my name Lindsey, I'm a experienced medical assistant. I enjoy taking care of people that need day to day health and/or home assistance. I am the oldest of six children, so at an young age I was responsible for helping my mother care for my younger siblings. Later, after I graduated from Laurus Technical Institute's Medical Assistant Program, I continued to pursue career opportunities to care for the home and health needs of people. I am a joyous caring person by nature, so making someone else's life easier, either for you or a love one, is a job I will never get tired of doing. ;-)
What I believe makes me a great caregiver is because what I lack in years of experience I make up in hard work, dedication and compassion. What made me decide to become a caregiver was a desire to help people, and also the idea that I could actually make a difference in people lives; whether it being as small as remembering that they prefer their coffee black or as significant as assisting them in their daily therapies so they can recover the best they can. What I like about being a caregiver is the simple fact that I can be a companion for those who may feel lost or forgot, a shoulder to cry on for those who are saddened or frustrated, and overall a reliable friend for anyone who needs one. A personal achievement I am proud of is earning my license to practice as a Certified Nursing Assistant, and sticking it out at my current job at a skilled nursing facility when the going got tough.
What makes me a great caregiver is my bubbly personality and my willingness work! I became a caregiver when I was 19 because I grew up watching my mother and listening to how proud the job made her. I wanted a rewarding career like that so i went for it. I have achieved a lot in my 9 years as a caregiver and i am most proud of the diverse capabilities and experience i have in the medical field!
I love to work with the elderly and children. I'm currently in school to become a registered nurse. I have done home care since I was 18 years old. I had the same patient for 4 years + and I still have a great relationship with her. I am very patient and kind when it comes to others. I would treat your family member like they are my own. I am also very dependable.
