I have been a caregiver for many years. It is my passion. I enjoy helping people a great deal. My mother before me was a nurse, my grandmother before her was a nurse. I take my job very seriously and I excel at what I do. I understand what it means to put my client and their safety and priorities first.
I started in the caregiving profession to be able to give back to the community. I love helping others, along with getting to know them and their families. It is a very rewarding experience with each new client. I currently have two years of RN school completed and I'm eager to finish my degree in the upcoming years. I have experience with a wide range of disease and disabilities from the two years of clinical through Pitt's nursing program. I also have two years of home health experience, specializing in helping elderly, but have also had special needs children (autism, ADHD, aspergers) as well. My home health training proof is available upon request (This site gave me no option to upload the form). Please feel free to see my training or ask any questions! I hope to be speaking with you soon!
I been doing home health for multiple years because I like helping people and also learning things from the people I take care of. What makes me a good caregiver is my ability to go above and beyond the normal to brighten someone's day and to know that there are people that need and appreciate my help. You have to have patience and a caring attitude some cases are harder than others but in the end its about helping people stay somewhat independent and the need for loving dedicated caregivers are on the rise.
