I'm a very patient person that enjoys caring for others. I enjoy helping with housework and cooking. I've worked with some very difficult patients and have been able to build trust. Can work different shifts depending on need. I really enjoy helping people stay in there home as long as possible.

I became a Cna after taking care of my grandmother before she died from cancer. There was something so fullfilling about being able to give her care at her home in her last days. I have now been a cna for over 10 years. The hardest part of the job to me is not getting attached. I have a big heart and every patient I have ever had has been considered family to me.

I think one of my greatest traits that with my experience make me well qualified for the job is, compassion and patience. Because above all those are the two important things you need to have while working in the health care field, and I have learned both go a long way. I have been a personal care giver in many different enviroments/ to all ages of patients for the past 6 years, and the amount of different people you meet and just being able to be there when they need somebody/ help in any way is in my view the best part of the job.

What drove me to be a passionate caregiver, was the influence of my mother and how she effected many families lives. Although, I have 2.5 years experience legally working as a caregiver/nurses aide, I have had experience going to work with my mother in my early years of high school. Also, I have many family members/close family friends who have struggled with disabilities, such as Alzheimer's, dementia, healing from surgeries, MR, paralyzed, in wheel chairs, anxiety, cancer, and depression. So including all of those, I have years upon years of experience. I have my own vehicle/drivers license/ etc. so I would be available to provide transportation. I would be a great caregiver for you and your family because I have a GREAT passion for helping/Caring for others, and making them comfortable no matter the situation. I am currently a student in the nursing program at BC3. I am reliable, have my own transportation, and am qualified to give the care that you are looking for. I am CPR/BLS certified, and have also taken courses for feeding and basic activities of daily living.
