I'm a natural leader. I've eventually been promoted to a leadership role in almost every job because I like to help people. I find coworkers usually come to me with questions or concerns even when I'm not in a leadership role because if I don't know the answer, I'll at least point them in the right direction. I am a certified EMT. I have worked in roles of customer service since I was 16 and find that is where I thrive. In such roles in which I am able to help provide assistance or a service to another individual on a daily basis.

As a person who took care of her grandmother, I am very compassionate. I understand that they are old and fragile and need love. I am a very patient in general and even more as a caregiver. This job is caught my eye because I love taking care of people. I am the youngest in the family so it was them who always took care of me and as I grew older, I found myself wanting to take care of other people and family members like my family took care of me. I love making people that I take care of make their problems go away even just temporarily. I love making them happy and forget their problems. I love affecting people's lives positively. I took care of my grandmother growing up. When I used to live in the Philippines, she was one of the people that raised me. I moved to the US and had to leave her but I promised myself that I will get her to come here one day. Finally, I got her a Visa and she got to see the United States and got to take care of her like she took care or me. She was with me for 2 years and I had to stop college so I can take care of her. I have no regrets, I loved every single moment we spent together. She was 82 when she came here, I had to bathe her, change her clothes, make food for her and help her get to bed. She has rheumatoid arthritis in her knees so it was very hard for her to walk so I had to escort her wherever she went. She was also showing signs of Dementia. Even though we talked about the same things over and over again, I would go back a thousand times just so I can see and take care of her again. Her Visa expired and had to go back to the Philippines. She is 87 years old now. Whenever I talk to her, she would never fail to thank me for taking care of her.

My dad made me want to get into caring for people. I enjoy helping and making them feel safe and letting them know that i care. My personal achievement is that i made them happy.

I have a great sense of humor, honesty , loyal cos I hate being lied to. I do my best put rest first in between me and anyone else.. Very responsible. Empathetic too. My dad passed away with no one around him . Never get a chance to care for him cos I was in the USA , so I decided to be in the health care Feild so I can be there for people that need my help . My personal achievement is giving a great presentation at work, being able to work at a very stressful suituation at a very limited time.

I am an volunteer firefighter, so being a caregiver is another way for me to help others. I took care of my grandfather & seen it as something I could do for others. Being a caregiver for me is amazing because I like to help others & relieving others from stress & just overall seeing some thing I am doing making someone happy.
