My name is Wilfred Omari, but i go by "Wil". I graduate RN school from Roxborough memorial hospital school of Nursing. I Have worked in both acute care and long-term care. Acute care as a floor nurse and Long-term as a floor nurse and also in supervisory position. I'm looking for a per diem position that I can make my schedule and explore the world of home health.

I am a mom of 2 beautiful daughters - 18 and 9. Although I don't currently have any at the moment, I am a foster care mom (resource parent). I became a caregiver in 1983. I worked as a CNA at a nursing home. I love caring for the elderly. I achieve great satisfaction knowing that the care I provide makes someone feel better and more comfortable. My greatest accomplishment is becoming the first in my family to graduate high school and college. I graduated from Drexel (formerly Hahnemann ) University School of Allied Health Professions and became an RN in 1987. I completed a parish nursing program and earned my BSN in 2003. I work only part time. I am very interested in performing meaningful work for 3 - 4 hours daily while my children are in school. I am very nurturing and caring. I am respectful, patient and kind. I pay attention to details. I love to talk, and I am a good listener. I am reliable. I have current child link, criminal background and FBI clearances. My clearances are mandatory because I am a licensed foster care provider, minister and a registered nurse. My background is senior care, oncology, hospice and the health insurance industry. I am also a licensed minister.

I become a caregiver because I am a caring person who enjoys being helpful to people. I take great pleasure in making people feel secure when I am around them. When I was scheduled by "Vising Angels" to take care of an elder lady who broke her hip 4 years ago, I felt proud to receive several gift card from the company for loyalty and recommendation by the client. I am a reliable, compassionate, flexible, and knowledgeable caregiver.

Growing up as a kind I also love to help people,moreover seniors for that matter. Before my grandmother could I was the one who was taking care of her,and this was one of the reasons that bring me closing to this job. I want to help people that really need my help.

It is my nature to be a caregiver. I chose to be a registered nurse because that is what I loved to do. My husband had a recurrence of his colon cancer and I remained his sole caretaker. I decided it was time to leave the clinical area when he expired. It's been 5years and I am ready to come back😊😊
