Understand the need for following instructions.
Enjoy working with people in homecare taking care whatever is needed. I have seen people who are untrained and without common sense and this is a waste of everyone's time.
I like the idea of taking care of things the resident doesn't have to try to do, so he or she can spend their energies doing things they enjoy.

My personal reason is, I helped my dad with my mom. She was on hospice for approximately size months or more. Then, after mom passed I helped take care of dad, he passed the following year.
