Caregiving came to me naturally in my younger years and I believe God has placed natural talents and gifts in all of us. I enjoy working with people and take my work seriously. I count it an honor to serve others and I hold myself accountable for the care I give others even how I communicate and relate to my clients and their families. I really do enjoy being a caregiver because I love to encourage others and to lift their hearts where I can. (I also believe that what goes around comes around and one day I may need someone to care for me and encourage me.) I am very proud of working in a hospital, learning to train the nursing staff on safety and patient handling techniques.
I am now a single mom with children grown and living very productive lives. I am not married any longer so I have to restrictions on my time. I do prefer to work night shifts because I did this for many years as a single mom. (child care for 3 was cheaper this way so I have become accustom to working nights.) I do have very strong references upon request.
I'm a loyal, hardworking, honest, dependable caring person.
I helped take care of my grandmother which made me realize how comfortable I am being a caregiver. I know one day I'll need caring for. I've been caring for others loved ones for almost 15 years now. I love my job and I love helping people in anyway I can. Please give me a chance to help take care of your loved one.
I enjoy people , their stories , the life they have lived , events in history they lived through that I can only read about . I know and firmly believe God put me on this path of nursing for its what I enjoy , Can give back and where my help is needed . I believe their are nurses and then there are exceptional nurses . If I can impact one family , one person and make the quality of life the live better then I have done my job . Nursing is not just a career it's a life long commitment and friendship to a patient .
A personal achievement that I am extremely proud of was going to college to be a nurse. Although, if it had not been for my mothers help, I feel I would not have been able to finish.
I think not really knowing my grandparents attracted me to being a caregiver. I sort of adopt grandparents along the way.
I seem to have a passion caring for older adults. I have worked in nursing homes and assisted living facilities. I prefer to care for individuals in their own home, because I feel better care is given.
I am a mother of 2 grown children and an empty nester, so I feel my entire focus will be to provide the best care for you or your loved one.
I am compassionate, trustworthy, and empathetic companion who demonstrates these qualities in my everyday life and work. I take pride in what I do because my patients are worth every ounce of love and care that I am here to provide. I enjoy learning about them, attentively listening to their life journeys, and providing unconditional respect. Each patient I have encountered has left their unique footprint simply by providing this world with their presence, now it is my turn to give back to them.
I'm caring and compassionate, I have a huge heart and honestly enjoy helping others. Which is why being a caregiver isn't just about receiving a pay check to me. To me its about making a difference in someone's life, although it may be a small difference. My main goal as a caregiver is to assist you (the family) in keeping your loved one in their home and happy as long as I can, to be there when you can't and bring you peace of mind knowing your loved one is being cared for. I love that I get to know the people I take care of, hearing the stories, being the person they look forward to seeing each day. Like I said, yes its my job, but its a job I'm very passionate about and take pride in.
My ability to use what I call H.E.A.R.T to heart communication me uniquely engaged with other interesting people that may need a little more help than others:

Eempathize to identify Apologize when needed Resolve their issue
