I have had a life-long passion for working with adults who are differently abled, and have a great amount of compassion and empathy for such individuals. I started volunteering as a peer counselor when I was working on my bachelor's degree, and found it to be incredibly rewarding. After two more volunteering positions in human services, in addition to working as a case manager and caregiver with dementia-diagnosed clients, I decided that I wanted to dedicate my life to caregiving and social services, and continue this amazing journey. There is great satisfaction in being able to assist individuals who are in need of help to maintain a quality of life that they desire, in addition to helping people to better themselves. I am very proud of the work that I have accomplished both academically, in my community, and professionally. And lastly, here's a little bit about me: I have a BA in psychology and human services, and have aspirations to return to school for a doctorate in psychology. On a personal note, I am an artist in my down time, love my two dogs, appreciate the outdoors, am an avid gardener, and very much love cooking and baking.

I am a dedicated and compassionate human service worker. I have a vast background of nonprofit/care giver work that spans over the course of about 5 years. I have worked in diverse settings such as working with homeless men in downtown Austin. I have a special place in my heart of senior care though, I love working with those who need assistance so they can stay in their homes comfortably. I've been trained in Alzheimer's and Dementia care, this has given me an understanding and unlocked a special place in my heart to care for those who are suffering from this unfair disease. I strive to make their lives as easy, comfortable and happy on a daily basis by keeping organized, preparing healthy and timely meals, keeping meal logs, med logs, appointment logs and daily notes of their activities and moods that day for family and friends to know how their loved one did on a daily basis. I love giving seniors a sense of relief knowing someone is there keeping their daily lives in order while they can enjoy their family, grandchildren and even their favorite TV show. I am looking to find a dedicated family I can work for, someone that knows they have someone there for their mother or father, or grandparent who cares and is dedicated to their job.
Hello! I'm B. Taylor Allbaugh and I love helping out people! I have had a lot of experiences with all different ages to help with their needs! I wanted to be a caregiver because I enjoy helping people who need an extra hand in their daily routine! I'm really good with arts and crafts when children are involved ! Also, I really enjoy getting to the know the clients because it in this field it's all about their needs and how I can help them in the best way I can!
I started nursing training in high school under the supervision of a RN. I have worked in the field for many years in many disciplines including acute care, rehabilitation, hospice, case manegement, orthopedic physician offices and direct in home care. Geriatrics is my preferred demographic. I'm very experienced, self directing, honest and trustworthy. I am responsible and willing to freely share my experience and knowledge to provide exemplary care.
I find it thrilling spending time with people I don't know, and then getting to know everything about their routines. There's something very special about a being trusted and hired to care for a stranger, they expect you to care for them, and tend to them. Do things the can't nesecarily do themselves anymore. I used to care for my grandmother because she had hired people in the past and they would never take care of her the way she needed. People are humans, they should be treated like it no matter their gender age or disability. That's why I enjoy the health care field, because I know the person I am carrying for its in good hands.
