I became a care giver, because I was asked to help take care of my god father for a few months. I ended up staying in the field because I got another client by word of mouth and I absolutely love it. I enjoy what I do because I feel that I am making a difference in the lives of my clients not just because of their physical inability but the biggest part of my job is their mental well being. I try to put a smile and an Imprint on their heart every day. The personal achievement that I am very proud of, is that I have never had a client complain about my services. I pride myself on caring for my clients ,and their well being is a reflection of me. They may not always like the choices that I may have to make for them for their health but I have found, that they will appreciate the adjustments once they see and feel the benefits. I am very nurturing by nature . I appreciate my love and gift of servitude. I am a wife ,a mother, and a grandmother and I love family night once a month when we all get together and play taboo and eat a great meal together . My philosophy has always been "People don't care how much you know until they know how much you care." I also provide respite care. Short term and long depending on clients needs.

I am a passionate and reliable caregiver possessing over 15 years professional experience. Committed to providing the highest quality care to the geriatric and disabled community. It brings great satisfaction to be able to maintain/sustain a degree of independence for clients, companionship and being able to provide a alternative care for clients in home. I became a caregiver from the advice of a uncle, who told me that I was a natural caregiver during the time of taking care of my grandparents. One of the most personal achievable things I'm most proud of in caregiving is maintaining skin integrity without any breakdowns or bedsores of any client.

I am a great care provider because I look at clients in a manner for which I would like to be looked upon. For example, treating others with respect, kindness, and dignity provides a style in which I would like others to treat me. I have been providing care services for 7 years starting with a family respite care business and then moving to providing personal assistance. What I like most about being a care provider is that I am to give back to the community in a positive way as well as help those who have paved the way for the younger generation. There are several personal achievements that I am proud of but the most important one is having graduated with a Master's degree to now working on a Ph.D.
