Hi there my name is Kimberly, I am a local Walden resident with years of experience in helping seniors throughout the entire aging process. Both my education and professional background is elder care, with great emphasis in the areas of companionship and hospice care. (a little about myself) In 2010 I earned an associates degree in social services graduating *Phi Beta Kappa. In 2009, I was awarded volunteer of the year for American Hospice Conroe Branch. (currently The Lighthouse) Professionally, I've enjoyed being an Activity Director for one of Conroe's finest independent senior living communities. I specialize in lifting spirits and helping seniors remain active and independent.
I was brought into care giving honestly by accident, but it was a great one. I found out that I love helping and assisting people, and I am good at it. I have a very strong presence, and I'm very respectful. I pride my self with that. I am always smiling and its definitely contagious l. I am very proud that all of my clients have referred me to their friends and family in the event they were to leave us, or no longer need my help. I love what I do and do my best at it. I will go above and beyond.. I don't mind cleaning, cooking, laundry, shopping. What ever your needs are I can meet them. Guaranteed.
I am a Certified Nursing Assistant with 5 years of experience. I am a compassionate person that takes pride in what I do. While I chose nursing as means of income, to help assist with the well-being of others is far more rewarding than any amount of money. What I enjoy most about being a caregiver is knowing that the work that I do makes a difference in people lives whether I know them or not. The personal achievement that I am proud of is becoming a Certified Nursing Assistant before finishing high school.

I am a single mom with a senior in high school. I have been involved in health care since my first job at a hospital when I was 15. I have worked I.hospitals, nursing homes and emergency clinics. I have cared for my parents and sister until they all passed. I have cared for friends during illness and recovery. I have always been drawn to caring for others alongside raising my own family. I am compassionate, empathetic, and skilled in all areas. I love what I do and care for all like family.
I became a caregiver to help others maintain their independence while ensuring that they have excellent quality care at all times. I am married to an amazing man who I share some equally wonderfully children with. I enjoy helping others it brings such know knowing that I have a made a difference in someone's life.
I am 48, a wife of 27 years and we have 3 daughters (ages 26,23,21). I recently moved to New Waverly, Tx from Friendswood, Tx to help care for my mother and father in law. I worked at my previous position for 7 yrs but resigned immediately when I saw they needed assistance. My father in law is in fairly good health but cannot manage everything himself. I needed to be closer to them. I must continue to work. I have been around and provided care to many elderly people since I was a child. I enjoy taking care of others and that is why I chose to be a Medical Assistant. I am particularly fond of older people. I think we can still learn a lot from our elders. I also feel the elderly people are not taken care of properly in our country.
