I am a retired educator and grandmother who derives joy in caring for children and the elderly. It is a God given desire to take care and support the needs of others which is why I am committed to utilizing my free time achieving this while making an income.

Home caregiving has been particularly rewarding for me because the relationships that I have developed are long-term and meaningful. Being a caregiver doesn't just mean doing chores, it's also about bringing joy to someone's life. When I help someone else feel good, it makes me feel good too. I enjoy working with people and most enjoy jobs where I have one-on-one interaction with others. I enjoyed taking care of elder family members and would like to help others in this way. I like older adults and feel you can get along well with a variety of elders.

I've been a caregiver for almost 3years. I've worked in an assisted living and memory care. Now I'm doing home health. Which I love, the reason why I love home health is because the patients have their freedom unlike the assisted livings. Ever since my first time I stepped into the assisted living I knew that was for me, as my passion to care for others.
