I am a licensed nurse who works in Home Health. I really enjoy and passionate about helping others where needed. Spend more one on one time with people. I am available late afternoons most days and weekends. My personal achievement I am proud of is raising my 5 kids!

I take pride in what I do. Working with people from all walks of life is something i enjoy. I take great care of not only my family but others as well. I have wanted to be a nurse since I was 15 and I have made that dream come true. I still have a ways to go but I want to get experience anywhere I can and in all forms. I enjoy listening to stories of the past and assisting with making new memories. I understand families cannot always stay with their loved ones 24/7 so I would like to lend a hand or two. I am very patient with people and do not rush them; I try to let them continue to do what they can and not feel helpless.

What makes me a great caregiver is being able to meet my client’s needs. I became a caregiver approximately 13 years ago. I love being a caregiver because what someone else can’t do for themselves I can do for them from within my heart. And being able to have strength and knowledge to bless others in need of care. I am proud of the Christian woman God has called me to be.

I believe that what makes me a great caregiver, is in the first place the passion I have, to take care of people who are not able to take care of themselves. I took care of several of my own extended family when they where very sick, and many times imagined myself in their situation. Second,as a caregiver I treat people like my own family, or as I would like someone to treat me if I were in need of a caregiver myself. I became a caregiver because my calling is to serve people who are in need. What I like about a caregiver, is the fact that I can meet new faces, and feel the satisfaction of making someones else's life more pleasant, and peaceful. A personal achievement I am proud of, is to know that I embraced the privilege of taking care of my own when they needed me the most, like my grandmother, mother, sister, father in law and other family members.

I enjoy helping others. Becoming an lvn. I have been in the medical field for over 30 years. Being able to help others. I have a variety of experience in the medical field. I have been a caregiver for someone both Inn the care facility and in their home. I have worked with people with mental illness as well as the mentally handicapped.
