I have worked in nursing homes, hospitals, and private homes as a caregiver. I am currently working in Denton Texas as a caregiver for my client, and I really really love my job. I enjoy being a caregiver because I always wanted to be a nurse, due to family I didn't get to accomplish that and can not go back to school any time soon. Hello, My name is Helen Robinson, I have lived in the DFW area about 7 years now by way of Virginia. I started caregiving shortly before I moved to Texas and instantly LOVED it. I thought how lucky am I to find my calling at 22yrs old. Once I started my giving personality took the lead. I learned that I had such neverending patience with situations I was faced with and that alone carried me through allowing me to fully understand each individuals circumstances and meet those needs the best way fit for the client. Being a caregiver has been so naturally rewarding in itself. Being able to help and seeing the relief that such help provided to families and their loved ones is truly what motivated me to keep helping and soon became what I enjoyed most.
