I took an interest in the medical field at the age of 20 during my schooling for Cosmetology. I went on to school an earn an associate degree in medical science as a Medical Assistant. Have worked in many areas of HOME HEALTH CARE. I am well rounded in most areas. A passion an interest in the health of people who need at home care and can utilize my knowledge and skills. I know how important it is to be comfortable in the privacy of your own home. I have assisted and supported families with caring for their love ones. My personal achievement was my schooling to reach my career goals. I love the medical field its so rewarding when u can be there to help meet the medical needs and support of those who really need it. An my desire is to continue to aide those who need an can use my skills. I have upgraded my skills with online continuing education and recently received certification in the care of Alzheimer and Dementia clients.

I became a caregiver because I wanted to provide my professional and quality care to the disable and to seniors. What I like about being a caregiver is, it really doesn't feel like work. It feels more like I just came over to assist a person in need. The personal achievement I am proud of is, that I have been a Certified Nursing Assistant for the last 16 years. I am also a Certified Medication Aide, certified in 2005. I now have a better understanding of medications, and the affects they have on the body. What I would like to tell you about myself is, One day in 1992; before I became a caregiver, and before my grandmother passed away, I was assisting her put on her socks. I didnt understand it then, but somehow now I do; At that moment I knew I would be assisting people in need. I have been helping seniors & the disable now for 16 years. It's very rewarding to see a family member pleased with my work. I am a mother of three daughters and grandmother of two g-sons and one g-daughter. I am a nurturer by nature, and I enjoy making others feel happy, comfortable, and joyful in their homes and special space.

I have been in the Hospice and Home Health profession for well over 17 years. I understand the need for compassionate, patient, empathetic, trust worthy, and hard working individuals in this field. I've worked with all kinds of ailments and disabilities in my span as a CNA. I treat everyone with the same courtesy, live, and respect that I desire to recieve.

I am very friendly and outgoing love to be helpful in anyway I can as a caregiver. I was attracted when I got into home health care when I was pregnant and just taking care of my patient was a joy. I just love making sure my patient is well cared for in there home. I am proud that I have been able to in this field for almost 14 years wether is doing home heath, CNA work or my CMA work as well. I have loved been in this field and want to get back to doing home health care.

I became a caregiver because I love to help and take care of people. I like being a caregiver because I get to meet different people and care for them in ways that I am needed. A personal achievement that I am proud of is that I am able to go out and assist people with their needs and be a big help to the family as well as for the patient. I have been a caregiver for about 10 years. I can not see myself working in any other field. I love helping people. They enjoy my company and bright personality. Things I enjoy most about being a caregiver is helping families out with there loved ones and everyone is being taken care of. My clients love the work I so and I do it with a smile.

I become a caregiver because I love providing care services to those that would otherwise not be able to do so. the smile on their faces is overwhelming and makes me feel I have done my job right. What i like about my job is meeting new people and providing care giving services that they can no longer do for themselves and also being a caregiver for more than 6 years has helped me in so many ways, I have worked in Assisted living and memory care. Taking care of Elderly and sick people that needs my help gives me joy in my heart and it let me know they need people to work with them that care. I became a caregiver because I know I can make a positive impact and difference in peoples lives. I know in my heart that nursing/caregiving is my calling. I love everything about being a caregiver from helping rehabilitate someone to making my residents and their families feel comfortable in their last days. A personal achievement I am proud of would be dedicating back to school to further my education in nursing. when I am providing care, or just doing anything, it shows that I enjoy what I am doing.
