I started my work life in the foster care system about 3 years ago, my heart has always been in it for the people. I quickly learned that God intended me to be somewhere different. I took a part-time position working with disabled adults and have been in this field for going on 2 years. It is my passion and exactly where my heart is at. I enjoy working with the under privledged and less fortunate. I love having the one-to-one connection with each one of my individuals.

I am a great caregiver because I'm very outgoing, have a loving and caring personality, compassionate about being a caregiver. I have been a caregiver for six years and cared for many individuals. The thing that attracted me to being a caregiver is that I love helping people. The thing I enjoy most is getting to know the individual and building a bond while helping them with there needs. A personal achievement that I'm proud of is when my grandma was diagnosed with dementia. I always heard about how things may happen / occur but actually dealing with this on a daily was something that was very hard. I was able to overcome all my fears especially dealing with a love one.

Hi, my name is Sophia! I'm a junior in college and am majoring in Nursing. My passion for serving others definitely lead me to this profession, as the relationships I build with others motivate me to make sure they are provided with the most outstanding care. I used to be nurse aide at a nursing home and rehabilitation center and would watch over 20 clients at a time. As a nurse aide, I witnessed the elderly being afraid of being taken advantage of or being neglected. Thus, fostering relationships with my clients were they feel trust and heard is one of my top priorities.

I would be a great caregiver due to having to take care of my Grandma since I was pretty young. She suffered from depression, dementia, then Alzheimer's. She needed a lot of care. I also love people and helping others. My Grandma Giving someone companionship and helping them. The feeling they get when they see that someone cares about them. Hello, I'm Ronae , The reason I'd think I'm a good fit for this job is because ever since I was younger my mom worked with home health care for my grandfather , I've watched her do cna work on a daily, I've always gave her a helping hand. I found joy in taking care of my elderly grandfather , I took the steps very seriously. He made me promise him if this is something I enjoyed & found joy in (The health care field) *Go for it , When I turned 18 I got the job at lampstand nursing & rehabilitation for a nurse assistant , I'm very outspoken, a great Team member , also always open to hear what I can improve myself on, i have 2+ years experience with alzheimer's, dementia , hospice, and younger patients , with my CPR Certification as well ,I did currently stop working at lampstand due to pregnancy & dealing with a toddler. I am attending Blinn College in Bryan, Tx. I currently have 2 majors, one in Fire Science to further my career as a Fire Fighter. My second major is in Child Psycology. I would love to work with special needs children. I also work for C. C. Creations as a Quality Control Specialist. I am also CPR and AED Certified. I just recently lost my grandmother due to complications from dementia. I took care of her for years. I cooked, cleaned, bathed and administered medication all while trying to keep her comfortable and happy. I am a very self-motivated person. I am driven by my need to better myself and help others. I absolutely love seeing people happy and successful in life, no matter who the person is. I love all music. I love to fish, hunt, and spend time with family and friends.
