What attracted me to this field as a young girl I was raised by my grandparents and my grandfather had a major stroke and he had to learn everything all over and @ the age of 12 I told him we would get threw this so I told my grandmother to schedule every therapy after school in which she did so everything they did I wrote down and practice with him the days and weekends they did not come and also speech therapy so this what got me into care giving. When I started out as a caregiver I looked forward to spending time with people who I knew I could share life with as I served and assisted them with daily living needs. It has been such a rewarding experience as I have been able to do this and gain the rewarding benefit of working for and with people. I enjoy the opportunity to be able to help others with their ADL's that they need assistance with and to see them perform tasks independently when they are able to.
