I am Virginia Board Certified Nursing Assistant with over five years of home health and assisted living care. After raising four children I returned to school and became certified as a Home Health Aid, Nursing Assistant as well as Phlebotomy Tech. I believe that everyone has the right to quality care, and an advocate to ensure they are treated with dignity and respect. Raising four children has taught me that one must always use and implement active listening skills as well as expect the unexpected. My passion for health care comes from years of experience as a mother, wife and caregiver to family and friends.

As a mother, and someone who came from a large family in which caregiving is rooted deep in my culture, I always wanted to take caregiving as a career and improve along that pathway. I like to entertain, converse, and read aloud to keep my patients or resident's alert. I also like to run errands and do weekly grocery shopping for them. In 2015 I started giving care to a couple. The wife pre-deceased the husband whom I continue to take care of. It has been 7 years now and counting, the children of this patient no longer consider me as a caregiver, but a family member because (according to them) of the 5-star care that I give to their dad. This is my personal achievement that I am most proud of in my career as a care giver.

Hello am a caregiver with the experience of taking care of the elderly, who was trained with the Sunrise Assisted Living in the year 2004,after a year sat for the State Board to be certified ,was then employed with the Hermitage and Fairfax Nursing Homes for quite sometime, within one of these facilities had a client who preferred to be cared for at home. Later part of 2006 I started private duty in Vienna VA and in 2009 Feb she passed away peacefully. I became caregiver because I use to take care my Mom when she was seek and I love when I was doing it that's why I know as soon I have a chance to learn how to do it better I got it and become Nursing was my dream since I was a kid I thank God that. I have my little boy he was diagnosed with asthma before I was worried about now I know how to take care of him , what to make eat for health to be strong before I has to see his pediatrician every 2 and go to emergency every 2 times a month right now he can play all day long , even his pediatrician got surprised he is in good health I make him eat more vegetables , fruits, he drinks more water than juice he is happy and I am happy we don't visit any emergency room for 2 years, no more medication at school even at school, I am proud of that and I thank God.
