Ive always felt that taking care of people was my calling. I love every aspect of it, everyone you meet has a different story to tell so why not have a reason to spend time with them and listen to who they are. When it comes to caregiving there isn't one thing that i could say i like more than the other, simply because I cherish every moment. When it comes down to being a caregiver I dont look at it as a job, to me its more of taking care of a family member I've never met before.

My name is Julienne Mihigo. I have been working as a caregiver for more than 10 years now. Since i started my career , i have gained and continue to gain more training and certifications that allows me to do my work in a professional manner. I am a compassionate individual , a very patient and reliable worker who enjoys working and helping with all people. I have worked both in home and in institutions , both with children and adults.. I always feel happy when i make a contribution in the well being of another human being, that is why i treat the patients with dignity and respect and render the service exactly the way they want me to do. As a metter of fact, during my last assignment, i was so happy to receive a reward from my employer because the patient had reported that my demeanor and my way of preparing food, had helped her to gain more energy that she was able to start walking outside again.

I became a caregiver in 1997 because I want to try to help anyone in need. I like being a caregiver because I get enjoyment knowing that I am able to help someone in need. I am very proud to have successfully earned my Med. Tech License. I am a wife and a mother of two beautiful children. I am very dependable, trustworthy and respectful. I have been in this field of employment for many years, have great references, and would love to help take care of and spoil your loved one as if they we're my own family. This line of work isn't for everyone but I am positive that it is my calling. It comes naturally and easy to me when I am helping someone else with whatever assistance that they may need. I sincerely get pleasure from knowing that I helped make a difference in someone else's life.. no matter how big or small .

Today people spend far less time in the hospital than in the past, I became a private caregiver because I love doing what I do! I have been described as a a warm, fun ,enthusiastic and compassionate person. I took my CNA classes in 2012 and am currently a nursing student! Certified in CPR PCA certified (Personal Care Aide) I love being a caregiver, I love helping anyone I can. I have helped take care of all of my grand parents and they were thankful enough to have family to care for them in their last days but iv always taken care of people who didnt have that and no one deserves to be alone at the end of life. My goal is to help them enjoy their last days weather its talking, reading, playing games, coloring or just being there to have someone to sit with them. I am now certified as a PCA personal care aide as well as CPR I plan to go to school to further my education so i can also work in nursing homes. I worked with a boy with autism for 8 years as well. He became like my little brother. I dont mind working on either spectrum. As long as i can help make their lives a little easier and put a smile on their face then im doing what i aim to do.

Hello, my names Chelsea. Im 17 years old. I just finished my nursing class at the high school. I love working with elderlies. I have a huge heart. My nursing class and i went to Autumn care of Madison va and helped there along with the teacher. Thats where we practice on people and stuff. I love it.

Strong empathy to surrounding individuals, compassion for life and everyone's feelings, pay strong attention to detail, ambitious, caring, willingness to go the extra mile. I've been a caregiver for over 5 years. My mother is severely physically disabled and needed someone to properly take care of her, that'll show up every day, who can be trusted and has the willingness and knowledge to perform tasks and duties. I like being able to make someone smile, to help them regain happiness and cope with their regression into older age. I know it's hard to accept limitations and I'm good at helping people to overcome issues that affect their capabilities. It's a great feeling knowing I helped them be more self sufficient or to know that I helped them be more comfortable if self sufficiency is not an option. I've helped my mother become less stressed and depressed. I've help her become comfortable because I know her needs and wants and cater to them as needed, sometimes before she even needs it.

For me is a wonderful moment when I go to the family's home, and the child I care for runs to me, with excitement and hugs because he/she feels safe and happy with my care.
