Ive been a CNA for 20 yrs, received my license in North Carolina in 2001 and in Virginia in 2009. I believe the most important thing that makes me a great CNAs is patience and understanding. The reason why I became a CNA is I find joy in the elderly. They are knowledgeable, they make you laugh,and you can learn alot from them. I get great joy in seeing the smiles on their faces because they're pleased with me.

I love taking care of the sick, I am a very loving and caring person, I have been a CNA for 18 years n I plan to further my nursing career I am a mother of two boys n three grandkids I love taking care of my patients they are my family, Sometimes I go and beyond ,but that's ok, I know at the end of the day I know they are taking care of and they are happy n comfortable. What makes me a great caregiver is that I'm truly an advocate for the safety and well-being of the patient. I'm my eyes, there's no wrong door. I do all I can to make sure my patient is very well taken care of and has what they need. I love helping others; especially those that are unable to help themselves.
