Hello, I'm Kathryn but you can call me Katie! I enjoy assisting residents with having the best quality of life possible and if we laugh and have a good time to then we are both winning in life! I have been a caregiver for 16+years. I started caring for children in my neighborhood when I was 12 years old and knew then that I would grow up caring for others. During high school I was in a volunteer program for elderly companionship and truely enjoyed spending time with the people I've met. I love listening to stories, reading books, playing favorite games, and bringing laughs to their bedside tables. If I help a laugh or smile I feel like I'm doing my job right. I know pretty much all the tricks of the trade when it comes to just about anything that comes up in a situation for a person once I've gotten to know them and their daily routine. I have been a caregiver for over five years! I am nurse assistant registered and have certification on hand. CPR aide and recently graduated from cornerstone health care training So that means I am now HHA graduated, and I am about ready for the washinton state board test!!!
