What a great caregiver means to me is to be able to show empathy and compassion toward the clients and families that I work with. By taking the time to fully understand my patient's needs and giving them the patience to work through their rehabilitation at their own pace, I show them that I care about them and that I want to do what I can to help them. I become a caregiver because I enjoy working with people. I love helping the individuals and their families to create the tailored care that is needed. I also enjoy working with the elderly in overcoming the difficulties associated with their health issues and helping them maintain their highest level of Activities Daily Living. The most satisfying part about being a caregiver is knowing that my clients and I foster a bond that makes me feel like a part of their family. In addition, the trust that my client's family put in me to ensure that their love ones are safe and taken care of is quite rewarding. I know how it helps the family feel at ease. One of my personally favorite achievements I'm proud of was helping one of my post-surgery clients at home with PT and OT; and enabling her to walk with a cane again instead of being restricted to a wheelchair.

I have great passion working with seniors and people who need help as well. Have developed and it has been my interest to not only work with elders and others but also to fellowship with them as well. I found it interesting and lovely especially when they tell those old stories and their words of wisdom great asset.

Greetings! I fell in love with caregiving while attending travel school, and working for an elderly man in his home. My passion for caregiving comes from growing up in a large family and always having people around me of all ages. I adored my grandparents, and had the pleasure of caring for all of my older siblings children before having 2 of my own. When I lost my grandparents, I decided that I wanted to spend my time around seniors, helping them to remain in their homes as long as possible. It has been a 35 year career for me, and I enjoy it more every day! The personalities of my clients are so varied and so valuable, and the knowledge and humor I have witnessed has been truly priceless. I hope I can somehow give back as much as I have been given.

I am an Optimal Aging caregiver \"Diamond Partner\" I charge $20-$25 an hour. I have a background check on hand. I started caring for my grandma, who had a stroke after my grandpa died. She needed help with pet care, reading, driving, cleaning up, cooking etc. Later I went to college and volunteered with a local senior care facility where I helped with personal and physical needs as well as companionship. First I have been doing this for eight years as I said before I have worked in the Adult family home wish you know you have to do everything breakfast lunch and dinner shower grooming dress and also assistant living and also hospice center. I know for sure what I wanted to do in life taking care of babies are adults no I'm working at a space Center wish I love my job so much. Working at adult family home you have to be patient and re-approach be gentle and kind also the assistant living it's the same thing you just got a re-approach them be gentle be patient as I always say is the little things that counts and matters I'm not perfect everyone to make mistakes but I try my best to learn from them and you're never too old to learn more I remember I was at work one One of my patient was laying down and they have a visitor and I was trying to feed him something he turned to me and said I appreciate this so much because he was not taking anything before and look he is taking a few bites that made me feel so good so I feel like I'm doing something.
