Ever-since being introduced to this career, I have acquired the passion and enthusiasm into taking care of, not only seniors, but people of all age groups who desperately require care and assistance and having to make them feel secure and happy in their own environment, homes and communities and making an impact in their lives so that they may get through each day with comfort and peace. I have taken care of several patients in the past from which I have had many different experiences with, which involved bathing, laundry, toilet assistance, hoyer lift, meal preparation, feeding, using feeding machine, medication, doctor/nurse visits, dental appointments and moreso with hospice cases.

Ive been a caregiver the majority of my adult life...i was fortunate to have a husband who was the primary provider, allowing me to make a home for our family. Im a taditional wife and took complete care of our family. Im a clean housekeeper, anExcellent cook, and a nurturing is my passion. Im kind, and patient,and very compassionate. Im Cheerful and funny, there has never been a shortage of laughter in my home; i miss that now that my kids are grown.. I enjoy the little thing life has to offer...such as the sunrise or the dew on the roses in the morning, the cooing of a newborn baby or the stories told by the elderly.. i also do not shy away from household chores, i feel lkke the homes i work in better look cleaner when i leave ,than they do when i arrive...im not one to leave things undone. I provide personalized care for each client, working closely with family members to ensure the very best care for everyone. I treat each client with the same respect and dignity I would demand for my own family. I can provide references upon request.

Always have passion in what I do when it comes to helping elders. Like helping them with what they want but most importantly gaining their trust is my most priority. I love spending time having to talk with elders about themselves and what they been through.

My personality traits that helps me being a great caregiver would be having patience, i am very compassion, and personable. What attracted me to being a caregiver would be helping others and giving back to those who are no longer able to help themselves. What i enjoy about being a caregiver is making them feel good about themselves and showing that i genuinely care. A personal achievement i am proud of would be having my daughter.

I'm a very compassionate person and I'm very patient. I have a great heart and love caring and uplifting people's spirits. I love bringing positivity to the room and I have a good sense of humor. I would love to be a caregiver and help someone in need whether that's daily hygienic needs or companionship. I fell in love with working with elderly people once I started working in a retirement home. Their stories amaze me and I respect them so much. I love talking to the residents about their hobbies and what they do on their spare time and I like to motivate them to keep going whether that's painting, knitting, singing, dancing, or just going on walks. Whatever makes them happy I love motivating them to keep doing it. I volunteered at Toys for Joy for the Rock Church and passed out free books to low income families. The charity also had free food, clothing, activities, and toys! It was a life changing experience and I'd love to do it again.

I think i am a great care giver because of my patience. You need to be very patient to succeed as a care giver. It is a very stressful job. You can easily be overwhelmed hence you need the virtues of patience and perseverance to succeed. It had not crossed my mind that I will be a care giver one day. I fell on it and began developing the love I have for it till date. Mt greatest achievement so far had been the out pour of appreciation i have received from clients and my supervisors for high quality services rendered to both clients and the organization.

I am a fun and loving person with lots of experience and skills in caregiving. I have my CNA, HHA, and Long Term Care certifications, as well as CPR and First Aid. I have specialized in working with clients who have mental disabilities, Alzheimer's, dementia, and Parkinson's disease; however, I will provide excellent service to anyone! Greetings! I am retired from the medical field as well as grew up in a medical family. I have experience with caring for others with different comorbidities. I am patient and caring as well as very respectful. In my free time I enjoy playing with my grandkids, geocaching and hiking, and flying. I've lived in Alaska for 31 years and have no plans to ever leave. My husband is retired Air Force so I do have base access as a dependent/spouse. I also have reliable transportation.
