Being a caregiver is more than going to sit with a resident to me I wanna make sure my residents are happy , comfortable and feel safe with me in their home . I wanna do what's asked of me and make sure my resident are well taken care of and I meet there needs every day . I'm currently in college to become a CNA and so with working with residents will make things a little bit more challenging for me to make sure I'm doing my best and giving a full 100% at all times . I enjoy being a caregiver because I get to make people happy and I get to know the person. I'm proud of myself because going in as a CNA I've been asked why are doing and my answer is always the same I wanna help people who can't do things for themselves.

Hi my name is Krystal Hill I'm from Ashdown Ar I've been a CNA for a little over a year now. I worked in a Nursing and Rehabilitation for most of that time. It was a very fast paced and rewarding job that I loved, but needed a more flexible work schedule to spend more time with my family and experience new opportunities and meet new people. I'm a very compassionate, patient, respectful CNA and I will go above and beyond to make you and your loved ones happy and make sure they're safe healthy and very well taken care of! I worked on the dementia and alteimers unit as well as the Covid unit so I am aware and practiced with all the extra safety precautions. I have always loved helping people and always had a soft spot for the elderly and people with special needs it helps give me a sense of purpose and always very rewarding! I'm so excited for this new journey I'm on and can't wait to get started!!

I COME FROM A BACKGROUND OF GRANDPARENTS THAT HAVE BEEN THROUGH DEMENTIA, CANCER AND STROKES ALONG WITH MULTIPLE OTHER HEALTH ISSUES. I LOST MY MOM IN 2019 DUE TO A HEART ATTACK AND MY GRANDMOTHER IN 2019 DUE TO Alzheimer's DISEASE. I FELT BETRAYED AND THOUGHT WHY ME, BUT TODAY I FEEL LIKE IT PUSHED ME TO BE MORE UNDERSTANDING AND TO HELP THE FAMILIES THAT ARE GOING THROUGH THE SAME THING IN LIFE, BECAUSE ITS ONE OF THE HARDEST THINGS TO WATCH YOUR LOVED ONE GO THROUGH WITHOUT SUPPORT OR SOMEONE THEY CAN TRUST TO CARE FOR THERE LOVED ONES LIKE THERE OWN, SO I PERSONALLY UNDERSTAND AND WANNA HELP AND TAKE CARE OF SOME OF THE HEAVY RESPONSIBILITIES THAT ARE NEW AND HARD TO COPE WITH. TO MAKE THEM FEEL LIKE THEY ARE NOT ALONE AND CAN TRUST IN THE PERSON TAKING CARE OF THERE LOVED ONES HEALTH AND HOME.
