I enjoy caring for people & I am great at it! I have worked with geriatrics, infants, children, quadriplegic, amputees, & many more people with multiple issues. I have worked as a PCA, certified Medical Assistant, & volunteered in nursing homes. I have a lot of experience within this field for what ever help is needed. I have lived in Arizona since 2003, born & raised in Minnesota. Technical college diploma 2003, certification test completed in 2010, & 12 years working in a clinical setting. Pediatrics, geriatrics, & family practices.

I was introduced to the world of healthcare and caregiving when I was just a child transitioning into my teen years. I took care of my grandmother when she was ill up until she passed and she would constantly tell me how fine of a nurse I would be. It was this experience that attracted me to the field of caregiving. Following this I took some CNA classes and it was caregiving from there. I have a passion for helping people and being a caregiver has enabled me to fulfill this passion. It joys me to see my patients happy and full of positivity. It makes me smile to know that the care I provide can make them feel better, and makes them feel comfortable, allowing them to feel loved and cared for. This is what I enjoy most about my field of work. I am a great listener and pay much attention to their needs, and their care, and am a very effective communicator. I love being a caregiver.

I started caregiving because a friend needed a live in caregiver,companion, help with medications, bathing, housekeeping and laundry. I took care of Edgar J. Ramsey from 2008 to 2012 until he passed away.I like helping people, feeling needed and pampering my clients. Once Mr. Ramsey was choking on a hot dog and I saved his life. I became a care giver back in 1996 for an elderly couple,whom i adored. so i decided to become a nurse aid/certified care giver, I was living in ohio at the time .then i worked in several homes with the elderly and ive worked for different nursing agencies.and hospitals. ive pretty much covered all areas. from dementia to Alzheimer's to special needs to lock down( mental) units , i have greatly enjoyed helping people and putting smiles on many peoples faces about myself i love to go fishing 4 wheeling, the beach and most of all spending time with my family. I have recently relocated to kingman, from north carolina and i am excited and ready to meet new people. and( I have) and will drive up to an hour and a half a day for your loved ones care . i really enjoy my work, and meeting new people and learning about their cultures and backgrounds

I have been a caregiver or certified nurse aide for many years. I like the job because I get to work with a variety of people with varied backgrounds. I like giving good care and making people happy and feel better. Being a CNA allowed me flexibility to work and raise my children. At many jobs I was promoted to shift lead or other positions. I am an on time kind of person. I know people rely on me and I am responsible.

As early as the 4th grade I preferred to be around the elderly. Everyday after school and during the summer was spent with Grandma and papa. Grandma and I would talk and watch big valley, Then I would walk papa to the store since he could not see. From there I took classes for activity director and help jobs both private and in group homes. The elderly have so much to share and only want to be treated with kindness and dignity. I have also held a job as a back office nursing assistant. I love being around people, However the elderly hold a special place for me. I have done some hospice. and post operation care. It is important to make them comfortable.
