I have more then 5 years of experience working as a CNA and a live in caregiver for home care agencies and have worked in nursing/retirement homes as well. Dependability, reliability, kindness, empathy, calm nature are few of my strongest traits in taking care of my loved ones. I grew up with my grandparents and naturally we take care of our own as it is a cultural thing. I love being around seniors and assist in whatever way I can as they remind me so much of my grandparents who lovingly took cared of us. Making them smile and making them feel comfortable makes me feel complete and happy.

What attracted me to be a caregiver is when my grandmother got very sick and I was the only one willing to help her for 2 years. I got really into it and enjoyed what I did. For me being a caregiver is extremely fulfilling work, it fills my natural drive to help people. I am detail oriented, can juggle many tasks at once and I genuinely care about the people I come in contact with. I have 4 years experience with the I.H.S.S. program and 1 year in a assisted living facility, Sierra Manor which specialized in Alzheimer and Dementia patients. Within a short time I was promoted to a Med Tech, a position in which I totally fell in love with.
