I AM Kind and Very compassionate! I have been caregiving most of my life. The age of 2 8 and now I'm 51 My 1st.(and I remember all of them) this one was most special to me. James Waiters. He was a C-4 Quad. Most difficult but most rewarding. You'd have to have known him to inderstand how special. He also was why I got back into it in resent yrs. As he struggled with Bladder cancer. Between his sister and I between 2017 and 2018 we made sure no matter what hospital he was at all right Randy Santa Barbara us see that he had constant care between her and I one week on one week off. Neither one of us got paid or was in it to be paid. We wanted to make sure he had constant care as a C4 quad needs! Sadly we lost him 2018.

I'm a very sweet and Professional caregiver . I have compassion, and it shows. I have found my "why" 17 years ago. To me caregiving is not a job it's helping the ones that need us the most ! I have taken care seniors fighting their battle with cancer, Alzheimer, Demencia, Parkinson, mobility problems, hospice. I believe of treating everyone with love, compassion, respect, and kindness.

I love helping people and seeing them smile. Every senior requires their own level of assistance but also like to be independent as well, I have an appreciation for everyone's abilities and love giving help and support to assist with their disabilities. I was recently the caregiver for an elderly man named Jack for the past three years. Unfortunately he has passed. Jack was 90 when he passed. I worked with him for 3 years and it was my absolute pleasure. He had Parkinson's disease as well as onset dementia and needed extensive care with most aspects of ADL's but could perform certain tasks independently. This has taught me that not all peoples limitations are the same, we must work to figure out strengths and weaknesses so we can be of assistance and not take away ones independence.

I became a caregiver first to my grandmother who suffered from Alzheimer's it's a very sad disease to watch. But we wanted what time she did have to be as good for her as possible. Older people have always had my respect. Ive grown up in such a different way when respect was part of life and I feel compelled to continue giving them respect when they can no longer do for themselves. To nurture ,love and give quality care for them as I'd want done for my loved ones and to keep them clean happy and well taken care of.
