I have been a certified Medical Assistant for over eight years. Therefor my scope is wider then a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). I have many years of work experience working with Geriatric population. My certification and BLS CPR are current. I am available for evening care and weekends.

My name is Yvonne and I'm a recent graduate nursing student. While I study for my Nclex I would love to help and assist patients on there every day needs, such as bathing, toileting, grooming, cooking if needed, assisting to and from Doctors appointments, etc

I became a caregiver because of my Mother she had became ill and I wanted to care for her but because I was not experienced in the health field she wanted some one who was in the health care field, so she had to go to the hospital and when I went to visit her I seen that she was in pain and uncomfortable in the hospital bed, and I tried to help her but did not know how too, and that made me very angry, so I decided to take a class in nursing Assistant and Home Health, but by the time I was finished with the course my Mother passed away. which helped me to see that their are others that need help in their homes and in nursing homes and I wanted do it for my mother to care to those in need and, I love caring for others, and I know my Mother is smiling down on me every time I make a difference in helping someone to live their life as much as possible. My greatest achievement is when making life better for others, like I met a lady who had had a stroke and her husband was caring for her and she was having problems with her hands stiffening up so I made her a home made device to help her be able to open and close her hand for exercise, so she could regain her strength in her hands and move her fingers. It was just rolled up towels but it helped her and made a difference and she was so pleased and so was I.

I have been in the medical field for 10 years. I started as a caregiver in 2010, because I enjoy helping others especially the elderly. In 2012 I decided to go to school to become a Medical Assistant, I completed my Medical Assistant course with high honors. I have been doing both Medical Assistant and Caregiving for the last 8 years and I wouldn't have it any other way, I love what I do and I love the quality time that I'm able to spend with each of my clients.

I love caring for others who are in need. I was in the Army and went to Iraq twice and it felt good to assist when someone was in need on the battle field. I served 9 years in the Army and decided to get out so I can become a Nurse, I just finished LVN school and hopefully next year I can start the RN program.

I'am an experienced caregiver with 10 years of knowledge and experience with senior care. I am a LVN and also have my certifications as a CNA , HHA , CPR/First Aid. I have worked in a hospital/ skilled nursing facility for 6 years and the other 4 years I was a private nurse/caregiver in my patients home. I have reliable transportation , very knowledgeable, hardworking and empathetic towards my clients and their families. I am also bilingual in English and Spanish.

I became a caregiver when my aunt needed care, and we had trouble finding a suitable caregiver for her needs, after she passed, I kept taking on other clients, and eventually started working for an in home caregiver company. I enjoy being a caregiver, because I get to help bring back a sense of stability to someone that has lost independence. I like to feel like I can make a difference in someone's life, and help them enjoy the small things in life that we take for granted, until we can not do them anymore. I currently work for an in home care company. The laws will change as of January 2015. I will not be able to work the hours I am use to, so I will need to find a second client outside my agency. I would like to be able to work with both clients.

What makes me a good caregiver? Is that I have EMS training ,and crisis as well. I have experience in several settings and will work with your loved one on being independent in her/his home. I also love to cook especially being raised in an Italian home
