I have tremendous empathy, patience and respect for each client. I treat each one as I do my father, whom I have been caring for the last 7years.Before caregiving, I managed restaurants for 23 years. I have ALWAYS been a customer service focused person. I wanted to make a change that fulfilled my heart. The thing I enjoy most about my job is assisting people with retaining their independence and self respect, even with a disability. Everyone needs to feel productive, like they contribute. The personal achievement that I am most proud of is that in the last year I have gotten my dad into the best mental, nutritional health that he has been in in the last 30 years.

I love being a caregiver I derive such fulfillment from helping others in need. Providing care to other's is not a job it's a calling. The wisdom and knowledge that the elderly has to offer is extraordinary and it's my privilege to care for those who need care. Being a Caregiver is really natural for me. I have 3 years of CNA work experience . That was my first job after H.S and loved it! I did take a Medical Assistant course after that and have been in that position for about 15 years. I missed being able to have a more closer relationship with people and being a Caregiver I get to do just that and more.

I have compassion towards the elderly and children most especially those who are in need of help with their daily activities. My first experience as a caregiver for the elderly was when my sister and I took turns in taking care of our 83-year-old mother. Moreover, I am confident with taking care of kids because I raised my own three boys (they are all adults now). Aside from being a caregiver, I am active at our church being part of its ministry. I am a good team leader and also good at following instructions from my supervisor. I am good at organizing and I always see to it that my client's room and kitchen are clean and tidy.

Hi, my name is Erin, and I was inspired to care for the elderly eleven years ago as I witnessed my great-grandmother age. She was an amazing woman and a great influence on my life. At 92 years of age, grandma started needing round the clock care. We tried several skilled nursing facilities and quickly noted that given their staff to patient ratios, Grandma was not getting the attention she needed. This lead our family to look into in-home care. I saw what how important a quality caregiver is to client's health. I knew I wanted to be the have the same positive impact on someone's life. Shortly after my grandmother passed, I embarked on my career working with the elderly. I provide services that allow seniors to stay in their homes. This includes but is not limited to bathing, dressing, medicine assistance, meal preparation, dementia care (Alzheimer, Parkinson's, Lewy Body, etc.), diabetes care, physical therapy, transportation to and from appointments, and Hospice care. I have reliable transportation, proof of insurance, and am licensed and insured. I have excellent references from local families. I also am state certified, CPR and first aid trained, an approved Independent Provider for Calpers long-term care insurance, with eleven years of in-home experience.I look forward to speaking with you.
