I took care of my father, in our home, for over 8 years before he passed away on Mother's day 2019. I managed his medication, cleaned the house, made his meals, washed his clothes, helped dress and gave him baths. I assisted him in walking and eating. I delt with insurance companies and doctors offices. I took him to and from the doctor. Changed bandages and just sat and talked to him. I now take care of my mother, in almost the same way. I love to help people and make them feel better in any way that I can. Taking the stress off the person and their families is a way, I feel like, I can make that happen. I have learned a lot (hands-on) and a personal achievement I'm proud of, is learning how to pull community resources to assist the families I help.

It has always been a desire to help people. Making a difference in someone's life. I have learned that I am a leader, I have been lead caregiver for several of my patients in charge of scheduling, taking care of all household needs and total patient care. I started working in nursing home when I was 16yrs old and loved it I felt needed, and felt like I was making a difference. I've been an LPN in Ga. Since 2004, I specialize in senior care,I'm CPR/ first aid certified as well, flexible, friendly and available to work lots of hours. I have worked in the private duty/home setting for several different couples, and on and off since around 2008. I am highly skilled and have excellent references, upon request. I love working with senior clients. I do everything from meal prep, bathing , grooming to medication reminders. Also taking clients to/from Dr's appointments or physical therapy.
