Experienced caregiver new to Nebraska area, relocated from Arizona. Finishing classes at Bellevue University, Bachelors in Human Service Counseling/Criminal Justice. Ideal career will be elderly protective care. I have chosen caregiver, CNA and Med Tech most of my adult life, as it is my calling.

I have worked in care giving for more then 15+ years. I first worked in the Staton care center as a CNA/CMA , then did home health care private pay. Over the years I have truly enjoyed getting to know the people I have taken care of, and being part of their life. I love knowing I am making a difference in someone's life and helping make it a little better. I am most proud of being a mom of 2 wonderful kids, and being a wife. I have enjoy this life and try to make the most out of it.

I became a care giver because I took care of my grandma for 7 years she was 90 when sh passed 2 years ago she was bed ridden and I would put herin her in wheelchair with a hoierlift. And I enjoyed being that responsible person I love working with elderly and or handicap I'm also a medical assistant graduated from EVEREST collage. I used many machine like injecting her and applying a wound vac and she also had go be changed in and our of a diaper meds I did it all and I enjoyed if

I became caregiver because I like to help people. I did childcare from age 11 up till I graduated high school. Thought it be a nice change of pace to help adults. To know that the people I take care of have the best care possible and the gratitude they show when they get that kind of care. I do my job with compassion and want the person receiving care to always feel safe and happy.

I used to volunteer at nursing homes as a child and I loved it. I love being a caregiver because I know that I'm making their last days better and more comfortable for them and being able to make them smile each day makes me feel better too. I have had lots of great personal acheivements but the one I'm proud of most is getting an education when everyone doubted I would. I am Silver level National Career Readiness certified and have a certificate in soft skills. I am very driven, self motivated, positive, upbeat, n love to be constantly going.

I am a great caregiver because I am very passionate about my work and the individuals I am taking care of. I love the feeling of making others happy and helping them with all their daily activities. Learning about what the individual use to do in their youth is always intriguing and I seem to relate somehow to a lot of their stories. Being able to give residents, clients, patients, etc., the comfort and support they need is a rewarding experience.

I became a caregiver because it fills my need for helping someone out and builds my pride within myself knowing that I have done that on a daily basis. I like to have many different tasks throughout the day that keep me busy, because have a lot of energy and am well organized to be more efficient and get things completed in a timely and orderly fashion. My greatest personal achievement is my son. He has a diagnosis of down syndrome and I strive every day to make him successful and know that he can accomplish anything he wants to as long as he believes in himself. I have very high expectations of him and my college degree has assisted me in the knowledge to help him succeed and excel. I like to have fun and make people smile, because it is the small things in life that are the most memorable and the most important.

My great-grandmother was in a nursing home and was abused and neglected. So I became a CNA, while I can not rescue everyone, I can make sure that anyone under my care will receive the best possible care. I absolutely, love helping others, its just a rewarding job, getting paid to do what I love to do. My personal achievement would be having four wonderful kids and being able to still work. I am an honest, trustworthy, dependable, loving human being. I volunteer at church when I can, I have volunteered as JV coach for volleyball and basketball. I also coached girls softball and made it to finals, unfortunately, we lost first round, but we still made it.
