I knew I wanted to be a caregiver since childhood. My biggest accomplishment would be graduating from the nursing program while working full time with very young children.

I finished my schooling in Peoria IL, at Methodist College and completed my internship in the ICU at Methodist Hospital.

I became a caregiver after caring for my grandmother after she fell ill. I love being able to help people. I love making others happy and making a difference in the lives of others. I am very compassionate about seniors and love helping them so they can stay in their homes longer. I am very patient and have nine years of experience in this field. I started out working as a Caregiver because I've always been a Caregiver in some way or another and quickly realized how much I enjoy working with seniors and how patient I am with them. I know that some days I will be the only face they see so I want to make them smile and make it count. I am a 26 year old single mom. I was born and raised around DeKalb on a farm. I love sports and being active but really love helping others. I started caregiving when I was 18 for my great grandma and have been doing it ever since. I have a passion for it and I tryed to go work other places but found that caregiveing is where I was actually happy .

I've worked in Health care for over 15 years. Started in nursing homes at the age of 16. Have worked as a live in caregiver for persons with disabilities , also worked in hospitals and have been doing private duty for the past 4 years.
