My passion for the health field is phenomenal. I love what I do for a living and my mission in life is to take care of all God's people. I'm fully trained with hoyer lifts, transfers, bathing, feeding and ect. I enjoy helping others and bring light to people lives!

There are many great reasons why people become caregivers. My reason for becoming a caregiver is my passion for helping others, especially those in need. I enjoy being a caregiver because it is a very rewarding experience to be a blessing to others. I found that I am wonderful at helping others. Finding my career path is the greatest achievment I have experienced yet. I am a caring, compassionate, hard working person. I am experienced in the field and love what I do.

I am cna certified and also am cpr certified. I have been working in the health field since 15 starting as a dietary aide then going on to laundry and housekeeping . Then was put through classes for cna I have been certified for 14 years as a aide and I absolutely love meeting new people helping others and connecting with people as friends not just a caregiver as well . I do not have a drivers license but that absolutely does not stop me from being responsible and dependable when I say I will be or am suppose to be somewhere I will be there most times even earlier then said . I am still able to always grab a few things needed from the grocery store or Walmart as I myself always am needing things. So please don't count me out on the fact that I don't have a license I am still a very dependable and loving caring person who can still do the tasks asked with out one. A little about my family I am a mother of two a daughter who is a senior this year and a son who is in 4th grade my son has autism and adhd so I am also experienced in that and I am also expecting one on the way due in February. Being a caregiver to me means so much more than most! I truly feel that my purpose n life is to care for others to help others! I Love My Residents . I'm Very Patient , Outgoing And Fun. It was just the love of caring for people. Honestly the relationships I build with my Residents, they all have different personalities which calls for different relationships. My name is Alison and I'm 19. I attend Rock Valley 3 days a week. Tuesday and Thursday I'm there 9-3 and Fridays 10:30-12:30. I'm looking for a care job because everyone deserves kindness and care regardless of age. My mom has cerebral palsy that has gotten worse with age I assist her on a daily basis with transportation, assist with mobility and must take one more housekeeping and cooking roles than most kids my age do. My dad is also legally blind and needs assistance reading things and transportation. I figured I've been doing these things all my life so why not do it as a job!?

I have been a CNA for 5 years. I have worked in a Nursing Home setting as well as Hospital, hospice and Rehabilitation along with Home Health. I started my journey taking care of my grandparents and then passed that honor onto a younger brother as I started school to become an administrator in a nursing home. My goal is still to become an administrator. I have my bachelor's and I'm working on my masters degree and a certificate at the same time. I am looking for something more personalised than a nursing home setting and would like to get back into home health.
