I became a caregiver because it fufills my heart, mind , and soul. I get great satisfaction knowing that I can help keep a person safely and comfortably in their home. Meeting new people and their families has given me a lot of knowledge to use for the next job I am fortunate to receive. My years of experience have taught me to have patience and compassion for each person because everybody is different in their own way. I have raised an incredible teenager who is thriving in life. One of the things I am most proud of is that I took care of my mother who was dying of lung cancer. I was the best advocate for her that I could be. I kept her safe and comfortable to live out the last days of her life. I have done a little of everything in the medical field. I have worked in the ER, assisted living, home health and hospice and live in private duty. When I am not working I enjoy reading, camping, and spending time with my family.

I grew up with my mom in & out of the hospital due to cancer & have always had a drawn connection to health care. Junior year in high school I took a CNA class, Senior year I transferred to EMT class. I didn't graduate with either due to moving a lot. In 2020 , shortly after COVID I had a strong desire to come back to health care. I took a CNA class in Covington, Indiana & didn't care for the nursing home environment. I decided to take college courses for Massage Therapy, fell in love with it & all it's healing properties. I moved to Terrehaute , Indiana and decided it was time to go back to nursing but, didn't want to go to a nursing home. I found Help at Home and become an Aide with them, it was by far the best job I have ever had. I had the opportunity to be in the health field doing what I love but also having that time to have companionship & good relationships with my patients.

I am very Maticulous w everything.. Longevity, dependable, reliable, outgoing and a over achevier. What makes me a great care giver is that I really care for the person that I am taking care of. I love what I do. I became a CNA because I wanted to take care of my grandmother and that's how I got into the business of becoming a CNA I had been doing CNA work for 15 years and I have been a dialysis tech for 3 years but I still work as a care giver.

I am a 23 years young , and a happy person , very laid back , but also energetic at times. I am very loving , and caring . I love to make and see others happy , and smiling. I love to help people learn new thing when I can do so and to see them grow after getting the hang of the new skill they learned. I became a caregiver because I get to support and build bonds with great people who could use a little more help then others. Ever since i was a little girl i have been taking care of people. I started with my mom at age 9 and have always felt a need to care for people ever since. It has always been my passion. I would make a great home health care worker because i love working and caring for people and i really carw about the people i take care of and would treat them like i would treat my own family or how i would expect someone in my career to treat my loved ones.
