I have worked in health care for over 10 years. I am currently in school to get my LVN, I am punctual.

I have worked in the healthcare most of my life. I became a DSP around 2003-2004 I loved it so much that I went and got my CNA license nursing homes for a few years. But then decided to take time off to take care of my children. Not realizing that I let my CNA license expire. So I went back to the thing that I love my DSP job at Glenbrook in Vienna , where I knew and loved everyone there. But I decided to dip my hand into the cooking career got my certifications and have been doing that ever since. I am energetic and hard-working. I put my everything into what I do and their isn't anything that I can't accomplish when I put my mind to it . Cook DSP, CNA , mother , bestfriend, daughter I've pretty much live the life of a caregiver this is my life and I love every min I will continue to do for as long as I can. I am a very loving and caring individual, I love what I do as far as career wise, I started out as a DSP(direct support professional) in 2009 and since I've been working with individuals with disabilities, in-home health, and now Monday-Friday I work at a school. I just love being around people and being able to help out.

I'm 23, I have 4 little ones that I absolutely love and adore! I help take care of my nanny and grandmother who both have went through major surgeries and needed assistance!

I think i would make a good caregiver because I am an extremely caring person, i am a good listener, i love helping others. I am in school to be a Phlebotomist so it would get me used to interacting with patients. I took some nursing classes so i know some different things about healthcare. I have my cpr certification so i know what to do in case of an emergency like that.

I do my best to maintain a positive outlook and attitude each day no matter what challenge arises. Im compassionate to others. I enjoy making conversation, cooking, animals, nature and music. I always put everyone I love and care about above me. I became attracted to caregiving while taking care of my grandmother. Being close to her my whole life has really shaped me into this career. Im somewhat old fashioned. I can't explain it, I've just always loved taking care of others. I enjoy the time i get to spend knowing and sharing memories with a client. Those small talks.. And the fact that they know they're not alone in their situation. Helping those who've always helped or taken care of us is a high privelege. Im most proud of my loved ones and taking care of my grandmother.

They say in this business you have to put up walls and boundaries. I have never figured that out nor would I want to. I think that's what makes me great at what I do. I'm a loving and kind person and I love being able to make someone's quality of life the best it can be in the later years of their lives. I find elderly both fascinating and endearing. I fall in love with their own individual spirit. My recommendations speak for themselves. You won't be disappointed. I'm definitely one of a kind in a great way!

I have taken care of my mother since a very young age. I love that I can make a difference in lives by simply treating others how I would want to treated. I have two Bachelor degrees but recently decided that I wanted to take care of others directly via nursing. That being said, I recently completed CNA and CPR training. I am a naturally caring person that loves history and personal stories.

I enjoy being a caregiver for others because I like helping others succeed. I have been a excellent caregiver for 25 plus years. Actually I enjoy helping all ages. I have always been a caring person. I would rather give than to receive. I have been a CNA for 30 years. I am CPR certified. I did have my EMT certification. I am a Med Tech certified. This is my calling. I am 55 and getting to old to work in nursing homes. But I want to continue giving and caring for the elderly. This is all I have done and I would not do anything else until I am forced to. This is my calling from god.
