I have been a caregiver all my life - either for family or for work. I LOVE working with the elderly. I am able to help with meal preparation, baths, homemaking, escort, and respite care services. I love dogs and kids. I am most proud of the smiles I can put the faces of the elderly that I serve. I am a homebody and enjoy watching tv and spending time with my family and friends. I am a Christian woman & desire to treat any of my patients as family and not as a duty, caring for people may be my job but it is also my calling & I will always do it for the reward of helping others rather than for the money.

I have a great deal of compassion for the elderly. My father in law convinced me to try helping others as I do he and my mother in law. I think nursing homes are terrible places for them to spend their golden years and hospitals are even worse. If I can help anyone avoid them I like to try.

What makes me a great caregiver is that i have been in the shoes of the person seeking care for their loved one. wanting the absolute best they can possibly find for their loved one. i've done this for my grandmother and my father both, to people that mean the world to me and i want to give back to the people who need it most. i want to be the one to provide the excellent care for your loved ones.

I enjoy helping others, its something I have always had great passion about. I always treat them with the up most respect as if they were my own family, i believe that to be very important. I took my cna exam in 2012 and passed with flying colors and worked in a nursing home for 4 years and I absolutely loved my job! Then I had to relocated and decided to take off to care for my children who are now all in school. I miss caring for others

I have decided to become a caregiver at this point in my life because I have been caring in one way or another in my jobs whether it was in my restaurant jobs to my previous personal caring of individuals. I love working with people and helping in anyway I possibly can. To me this kind of work is rewarding in ways that cant be explained. I guess you can say my personal achievement would be my raising from my parents and the things that were taught to me as a child. Respect, pride, honesty, and to always do unto others as you would have them do unto you. I have also had to care for my grandfather who died with Alzheimer's. And have cared for a man who was hit by a drunk driver and broke his right knee and left arm, he needed 24hr care and I cared for him for almost 9 months before he was able to do for himself again. After that as short time later my husband received a chemical burn on his foot which covered his ankle down to almost his toes. He underwent 3 skin grafts and I learned how to clean and bandage those wounds to keep him from getting an infection. I also worked for a lady whose husband had a major stroke.
