I have worked in the healthcare most of my life. I became a DSP around 2003-2004 I loved it so much that I went and got my CNA license nursing homes for a few years. But then decided to take time off to take care of my children. Not realizing that I let my CNA license expire. So I went back to the thing that I love my DSP job at Glenbrook in Vienna , where I knew and loved everyone there. But I decided to dip my hand into the cooking career got my certifications and have been doing that ever since. I am energetic and hard-working. I put my everything into what I do and their isn't anything that I can't accomplish when I put my mind to it . Cook DSP, CNA , mother , bestfriend, daughter I've pretty much live the life of a caregiver this is my life and I love every min I will continue to do for as long as I can. I'm 23, I have 4 little ones that I absolutely love and adore! I help take care of my nanny and grandmother who both have went through major surgeries and needed assistance!

I think i would make a good caregiver because I am an extremely caring person, i am a good listener, i love helping others. I am in school to be a Phlebotomist so it would get me used to interacting with patients. I took some nursing classes so i know some different things about healthcare. I have my cpr certification so i know what to do in case of an emergency like that.

I have extensive experience in wound care for pressure ulcers and skin disorders. I am very easy going and patient and know how to help with mobility. I see so many people that either have no one at all or have people that cannot do the caregiving. It is not for everyone. what I enjoy most about caregiving is seeing people treated with dignity and like they matter, and not a burden. I am most proud of the fact that I was able to keep my Dad at home, and let him go peacefully at home, instead if a hospital or nursing home.

They say in this business you have to put up walls and boundaries. I have never figured that out nor would I want to. I think that's what makes me great at what I do. I'm a loving and kind person and I love being able to make someone's quality of life the best it can be in the later years of their lives. I find elderly both fascinating and endearing. I fall in love with their own individual spirit. My recommendations speak for themselves. You won't be disappointed. I'm definitely one of a kind in a great way!

I have always been a caring person. I would rather give than to receive. I have been a CNA for 30 years. I am CPR certified. I did have my EMT certification. I am a Med Tech certified. This is my calling. I am 55 and getting to old to work in nursing homes. But I want to continue giving and caring for the elderly. This is all I have done and I would not do anything else until I am forced to. This is my calling from god.

I love to care for individuals who cannot care for themselves. Caring for disabled gives me satisfaction that I have helped someone who couldn't do it themselves. I have cared for an individual who had a stroke and could not even get up by themselves. They could not cook for themselves. Gave me an honor to help them. I am a very compassionate loving person.
