Lifts were all manual and showers, bowel movement with a Fleet was continuous for the 3 yrs l worked with him. I have been working since then with the disabled, psychiatric disabled, physically disabled, Drug Rehabilitation. I have been a caregiver for over 30 years. I began as a teenager in nursing homes but found in home care when I was a personal trainer. I was training a client in her home and it was then that I decided I wanted to spend more time helping the elderly remain in their homes. I am very easy going but I'm a a great worker. What attracted the most to look into this field and to sign me up for CNA school was for my grandparents that I was very close to and who raised me so I did it for them! Because unfortunately, my grandmother was in a nursing home and she was very neglected to the point.
