People often describe me as one of the kindest people they know. I believe I was put on this earth to help people, and caring for others is the way I choose to satisfy this calling. I was raised in a family that always went above and beyond for other people. As a child we often had someone staying in our guest room to help them through hard times and getting back on their feet. My mother is a pharmacist who owns our family business with my father. Working in and around the pharmacy has exposed me to people from all walks of life, and gave me the desire to work more hands on with patients. I have spent most of my life helping to care for my younger sibling with severe physical disabilities. In 2020 I began my first job as a PSS. I took care of one client full time, she had Lewy Body Dementia and was hospice. Here is where I found my love for memory care and end of life care. It isn't an easy job, and many people can't do it. But I love that I am able to give the gift of support and caregiving to my clients and families during these trying times. As I am also a licensed cosmetologist I also am happy to provide my clients hair with services, nail care, and skin care. With the risk of COVID-19 still widespread this is a perk many clients love as they don't have to leave home and expose themselves to receive these services. I am timely, reliable, and will go above and beyond to provide the best quality of care possible. I look at my job like this: If this was my parent, how would I want them taken care of? And that is the standard I hold myself to.

In 2017 I graduated from nursing school with the intention of helping people be stay healthy and feel their best. I have been a registered nurse for two years now and am hoping to expand my caregiving career. It is my hope to help people maintain their quality of life and independence safely as they age. I enjoy reading, pets, going for walks, running errands and being out of doors.

I grew up in an environment that make me to understand what they've been going through and he creates in me the passion and love to aid. Life it's to short and we need to make sure to be there when other needs us. l like making someone smile and doing little things to make a person's day better. You take pride in your attention to detail. You don't want a desk job; you like being physical in your job and using your body as well as your brain. In my previous state Connecticut I also was a medical asst. Here in maine you need to exam all over. Where healthy help is needed I love to be there.

I became a caregiver when my father became ill and needed someone to take care of him. I am a retired licensed massage therapist and taking care of people is what I am passionate about. Being a caretaker is a perfect fit for me because I enjoy working with people, I am strong which makes transfers not a problem, helping clients with rehab or exercises comes naturally, I'm a gourmet cook, and am a trained artist so we can always think of a fun project to play around with.

I have been a CNA/CMT for 24 years. I have worked in a wide variety of healthcare settings. I enjoy being a caregiver the most because I know it's a Job that can truly have an impact on the quality of someones life.The times I have done home care I found it very rewarding to know that because of me a person was able to stay at home and be more independent than if they had to live in a facility. I have a disabled younger brother and was raised by my grandmother. I have always wanted to help others and have always been in a situation that I was able too and I don't see myself doing anything else but this for work. I have worked in a private facility with my amazing work partner with the same experience if not more- we are both looking for a one on one that requires a two person assist as we live together and commute together we will not disappoint with our knowledge and professionalism, as we are both asking for an hourly rate I hope you will take into consideration that two is better than one when it comes to taking care of your loved ones so every little detail can be monitored with fresh eyes and extra hands. :)
