My name is Inna Golden. I've been doing PCA work for about 4 years now I got certified May, 2022. I plan to go back to school for my LPN the year of 2023 and what makes me happy the most about doing this type of work is me feeling like that it's something that I was called to do. I love helping others. I love spending time with other people. I love getting to learn different ways and learning different ways that I can help others. I've been an LPTA for 17 years and absolutely love my patients! Geriatric patients are my favorite! However, I have grown tired of fighting with Medicare and have chosen to focus on caregiving rather than my previous career in therapy so that i can completelyfocus all my attention on my patient. My patients have always been my focus and my heart.

I have been a RN for 34 Yrs, I lost my job from NMMC in Oct. I enjoy working nights. I have been working on the rehab floor. Would like to find a 12 hr. shift job. Caring for others is what makes me whole and gives me great self satisfaction. I am divorced and am available prn. I prefer not to work days. I have been on evenings/nights for a long time. I have wanted to be a nurse as long as I can remember.

Hello my name is Mayra Vallejo. I became a CNA because working for somebody that needs love and attention satisfies my soul. After my first job as a caregiver to my father-in-law, I knew this was the work I wanted to do for the rest of my life. I'm a very patient person I have intuition towards peoples needs and wants. Being compassionate towards others is always my first priority. I do not have a ton of experience that I wish I had but the little that I have pushes me to keep doing what my heart desires and that is caring for others. I enjoy knowing that I have made someone happy and give the families a peace of mind that their loved ones are in ther right hands. I have several personal achievements that I'm proud of; 1. Having 3 adorable children, I consider myself very blessed to have them in my life. 2. Attaining my CNA license, this made my parents and children very proud of me after a few setbacks in life. 3. I am a 30 year veteran of health care , i love what i have become this was amy passion when i first went to work with mom whom also is a cna,my personality traits are value to my clients and resiedents,what attracted me is watching my mom take care of my granddaddie and other family members to being a caregiver is learning something new every day from my cleints and staff members,the most about being a caregiver is the love that i can enjoy from them and listening to them when they tell me about their family and their up bring,what is my personal achiement that i am proud of is bring love and joy back to them letten them know that they still have a purpose to others and i am doing the work that was placed in my heart,when my shift ends and i can leave at the end of the day and i know that i btought some peace to someone i know that im blessed.

I am 26 and I have 3 kids that I love so much. I am very outgoing and always have a smile on my face. I have been a caregiver for 4 years. Although I loved what I did working in the kitchen at the hospital, it didn't bring me as much joy as caring for the elderly. I must say working at NMRC is very inspirational; not only does it open my eyes to the world, but it gave me the opportunity to help those who can't help themselves. Being a caregiver is such an honor. It's all about putting away your needs to assist others. Knowing that a smile on your face can bring joy and happiness to someone else is amazing to me. The moment when you can reflect back and see how you have helped someone is what caregiving is all about.
