Hi my name is Alexis Moore. I am a single mother of 3 living in TaborCity NC. Being a great caregiver requires you to be patient,loving, caring, and passionate, and I feel I have all of those traits and more. Being a caregiver is something I love to do. Putting a smile on their faces let's me know that my job has been done right.

First and foremost, I am the mother of a one year old daughter. I love cooking, doing hair, and playing trivia games. I've been helping elderly people since I was 12. My grandmother inspired me, as I would go with her to a few houses around the neighborhood and help out the older people in our community. I then ended up taking care of my grandmother. The thing I enjoy the most is them knowing someone cares. I enjoy listening to them and assisting whenever I can. I've learned so much working with different people. What I'm most proud of is I learned how to be better day by day. Communication skills are way better because I learned how to actually listen.

I love caring for others I strive for better & helping those that need help.. Also love to see others smile .. my personal achievement would be showing other how it feels to love nomatter what conditions their in !!

Hi Everyone ! Let me start by saying why I became a caregiver. I chose to become a caregiver back in high school when I realized being a nurse is what I want to become. I have seen many patients either not receiving the correct care or being mistreated , I said to myself one person can't do it all but I can change someone's care they are receiving. Plus many others I will encounter in the future. I think what makes me a great caregiver is the fact that I treat the person as if they were my parents or family members. I take my time with understanding their needs. I treat my patients with respect & love. I enjoy working with the many different types of patients & their needs. I love getting to know them as well as letting them know I am there to take care of them. I enjoy working with my patients & giving them the care they need. I have left my job or clinicals many days pleased knowing I done my job the way it was supposed to be done & my patients were taken care of.

I also provide 24hr care. I have worked with hospice patients and nurses to provide the best care. Notation of my patients health is also kept. I have experience with tubal feeding, peg cleaning, and cathader care. I also have experience with the IV feeding equipment and flushing of the peg.
