A little bit about me is that I am someone who provides home care to others and with that being said I require a lot of patients. Compassion. When someone has compassion for another they have an understanding of what the person is going through. I have a tender loving care for the elderly I've taken care of my grandfather for about 10 Years now I've gained Attentiveness, Dependability, Trustworthiness. Employers hiring caregivers are looking for patient and compassionate individuals who can provide additional support to people who are unable to care for themselves I am Certified To Do So.

I am a great listener, I follow rules that are put there for the safety of the patient, helping people is what attracted me to care giving, making sure the patient is clean fed and most of all happy, being the best that I can be for not only me but for the patient

I kinda always was a caregiver and didn't know it. Both of my parents worked and I was much older than my step brother and sister, so I did all the house work and taking care of them from an early age. I also grew up with my aunt who was a spastic quadriplegic, so I learned how to do a lot there. I have had many patients, most were the ones everyone else had bad trouble with. I'm kinda the guy, that I can handle pretty much anything from full Dementia, to full quadriplegic. I have my state license in CNA, ACNA, and Phlebotomy. I have excellent experience and very good references. The last question that I am proud of is: My mother was passing in the hospital and couldn't have her placed in a home. So I brought her home with me and kept her alive for another month before she passed away with me. At the end she had full blown dementia, it was quite an ordeal to go through. So with that experience it has taught me a lot of what other families could be going through.

Being able to empathize allows me to put myself in patient shoes, and identify and ease the patients fears and discomfort. Having passion for what I do allows me to be the best caregiver that I can possibly be. I love my job. I genuinely care for my patients and people who are in need. I'm constantly looking for ways to improve my job performance ultimately, to make the lives of each patient the best it can possibly be. Having traits such as honesty and trustworthiness are are indispensable qualities everyone should have. Especially when in the homes of others. There will be many hurdles along the way when caring for different patients. Having patience's and being flexible will allow me plenty of opportunities in the field of nursing.

My personality traits are I'm a good listener,and a caring person.Im also willing to go the extra miles to take to care for my patient. What attracted me to being a care giver, assisting a patient to get a shower or to help feed him is the best ward knowing you made a difference in helping a patient.I enjoyed helping with ROM because thats important part of being a caregiver.ROM helps with blood flow and it also helps with stress,and he knew how to do the exercises without me telling him.I could just back and assist him if need that's the best ward seeing him being able to do it by himself that's one of my best achievement.

Ive been a caregiver on and off since I was 17 years old and I love doing it im also really good at it. Im comfortable in alot of diffrent situations im also a great cook :)
