My biggest passion is caring and helping people in need. It is a very fulfilling and important part of my life. When I'm not working, I spend my leisure time kayaking, walking/hiking, reading, being creative and taking care of myself and my home. I'm blessed with strength and good health, patience and understanding, and I believe this is why former caretaking clients always asked for me. I look forward to meeting you!

I became a caregiver when I realized how much I loved assisting and helping elderly, as I do my own grandparents. I started out first with a private patient, a retired Firefighter, whom I acquired thru a family friend and became his full time CG! Once my job was longer needed I knew I had to get certified and back into the field, and that's where I found my first agency to work for. My greatest personality trait would have to be my smile and willingness to be an open ear to my patients. One of my personal achievements that I am proud of gaining along with being a certified HHA is graduating with my associates degree. I have to say what I enjoy the most being in the field is knowing I made a difference in my patient's or their families lives.

I started my career in health care in 2005, I am compassionate and reliable. I have experienced a lot in the last 13 years related to this field. I have experience with Alzheimer's, prosthetics, medication administration, colostomy, trachs, just to name a few.

I grew up in a military family and we lived overseas as well as the USA. I saw Carelinx was looking for people to be caregivers to our veterans and that caught my attention. I love all aspects of what I do. I love working in the home, and have a flying-under-the-radar personality. I like to be in the background when necessary, and otherwise be fully engaged. I was a babysitter when i was a teenager after taking the American Red Cross babysitter course. I enjoy being of service. I love cooking for people, and making their favorite meals. I can cook vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free etc. I began working in the home as a nanny. I have nanny training and a bachelors degree. Eventually I began working as a private cook for dual-career families. When that was slow I worked as an elder caregiver on private duty teams and gained a wide variety of experience. As I have always had dogs, I also work as a dog walker/petsitter and will do overnight and vacation care. I have trainings in Medication Administration and Alzheimers.

I am very caring and love my profession. HOMECARE is my expertise. Learning fast is what I do. Quality work is the only work I will perform.

I am an experienced, responsible, honest, and motivated caregiver looking for new opportunities to provide companionship and all aspects of personal and emotional care to clients. My skills include bathing, medication management, errands, meal prep, and feeding, organize exercises and outings activities to enhance my client's health and well-being. I am great at being an effective advocate for the best interest of my clients when interacting with healthcare providers and their family members. I also specialize in memory management for clients with severe dementia and provide dignified end-of-life care when needed.

My personal achievement I am most proud of is that I am a mother of a intelligent, loving, kind 9 year-old son. I have a hard-working, supportive, loving husband of 12 years, who I have supported to get to where he is as a full-time Dental Assistant. I have worked with children in the school district, and I have my ALT4 for teaching HEALTH and Family & Consumer Science (passed the teaching praxis flying colors!! 99% on my Math!). I love my family. I love my two cats. I love art & music. I honestly love helping others (I used to manage the Clinique Counter in Concord for 3 years, I am not into sales and I left it to teach for a bit and spend time with my family- retail hours are horrible, I miss my clients most of all- helping them see the beauty in themselves as well as helping enhance it by playing with skincare and makeup. I also was honored by ELLE magazine in 2012 for my contribution to the beauty industry and was called "Concord's Confidence Maker" as it went on to explain how much I care for my clients and they appreciate me- this was something written by my Clinique Manager, I did not even know I was nominated until I read it!) I love education and helping others. I also volunteer at the Capitol Center of the Arts so I enjoy volunteering my time for the arts and working with my retired, older friends.

I have always been a caregiver, established with a lifetime of nursing experience. I have been a geriatric nurse until I retired in 2003 and since then I have had several home care positions which I especially enjoyed doing. I like the accomplishment of making a persons life better because of what I have been able to do for them. I am an artist, poet (member of the Poetry Society of NH) read often with other poets, do crafts and work a loom. life is never dull. This time of the year I work my gardens and enjoy kayaking and fishing. Life is good.
