Becoming a caregiver grew from my personal experience of caring for my grandfather. My grandfather built his home with his own hands and all he wanted was to live out his life in it. Watching him become less capable to care for himself and his house quickly became the driving force behind my overpowering desire to help seniors stay in their homes. I believe that our age should not dominate our lives, how old we are does not determine who we are. I will do anything I can to help someone continue living in their home, because I believe if that's what they wish, then they deserve a chance.
