I am a very compassionate woman. I understand that every person deserves individual care that meets their individual needs. I am attracted to helping a person live their best life as much as possible. I enjoy being able to make a persons day better by me being there for them. My name is Michelle. I have enjoyed the last two years of training and caregiving experience with the elderly. I have worked specifically in an assisted living environment, where I managed the home with 5 care residents per one caregiver. Additionally, I have worked in homes with 10 residents per two caregivers. In each home, I have been able to individualize the care to each person, as their needs may be. I have experience in crisis' management, fall risk, dementia (Alzheimer's) care, and much more. I think I make a great caregiver because of the way my grandmother raised me and how I had to help her growing up. It makes my heart warming feeling knowing I'm helping someone In need! I want to be a caregiver to give back to those who helped shape my generation. It's also a learning experience, older people are very wise. They have been through life and can teach more then u know. I have been a caregiver to children for over 15 years. I recently obtained my nursing assistant certification, and have had experience working in a prestigious, skilled nursing facility. My passion is to care for people, specifically the senior citizen generation.
